Rayhan is a quite place near Etisalat station, we went with the review of Zamato. To begin with we ordered Fatoosh and it was very disapointing. Ingredients were not fresh at all. Other things which we ordered was good.

The Fattoush was absolutely soggy and missable.Waiter was about to change it but the person manning the counter insisted it is fresh and left it back. The Kebabs are as expected – Good.Ambience – OKOverall – missable.

Al Rayhan, which means Basil in both Persian and Arabic, is a Persian-Iranian restaurant located in the Emirates Co-operative Society’s complex in al-Twar 3, Quasis. If I’m not mistaken, it originally used to be a Hatam outlet, but that was some years ago. Like all but one of the Persian restaurants in the Qusais area, it has a distinct South Iranian feel and flavour. This also means you can expect Tikka Masti on the menu, though they call it yogurt kebab. And indeed Tikka Masti is not just on the menu, it’s actually quite good; not in the same league as Ostadi or even neighbour, Al Fareej, but good. In fact, all their kebabs are good, and what you should be ordering here. Also consider the seafood options they have; South Iranians are masters at grilling and frying fish. The interior plays very much to the tune of local demand, sectioned into ‘family’ cubicles rather than an open dining area. There is a small communal dining area in the front of the restaurant but space and tables are limited. Service is friendly and fast. Worth a visit if you are in the area. But note, you are spoilt for choice in Qusais; Kish is the alternative if you want sit-down, and there’s Al-Fareej if you fancy some of the most amazing kebabs in Dubai.Waste NOT. Want NOT.

My fav iranian restaurant ever!!! I highly recommend this iranian restaurant to anyone because this is my entire family’s fav!!! We have a must visit to this restaurant 3-4 times a month. The best food ever and probably the one that will always have you coming back for more! Their kebabs and rice is a must try, for sweet I recommend the traditional iranian ice cream. The interiors have been changed recently so it’s a little better to sit if you have guests.
