I visited to this outlet in Terminal 1 on 16th October at around 8:45 pm. The staff was busy in chatting with their colleagues and it was really disrespectful for me when you are unattended or taken for granted while you are ordering food. I felt guilty to complete the order of ChickenManji combo for 27 AED and told to make spicy shawarma please.As expected the with initial experience the Shawarma chicken was cold and tasted like rubber. Bloody which shawarma comes with below room temperature Chicken pieces. Again in-spite of saying make it spicy the preparer neglected and gave the tasteless cheesy shawarma. Believe me this was worst Shawarma I have ever had in my 13 years in Gulf.
Just perfect! :-)We ordered chicken shawarmanji and potato shawarmanji along with fries manji. And all of it was fresh and hot and tatsy. Just the kind of light food we were looking for. Karak tea (chai) was good too. Would love to revisit next time
Disappointing and felt the attitude of cheating in last night.. Never expected such an experience !!!I was on bit hurry to board and ordered one shawarma and a bottle of water at the counter, before ordering checked the menu and made sure the price is AED 18 for shawarma. Cashier asked me to pay 40 dirham and given a bottle of Evian water ..I was a bit surprised and asked for normal water, which they don’t have and he regretted to cancel water from the order !!!.While eating the hopeless shawarma ( I used to Hav same from MOE outlet and the taste is wonderful) I just gone through the bill and notice that he added add-on’s as cheese and special bread with out my knowledge, which costs me AED 8 and AED 14 for a bottle of waterGood luck
Im a regular customer of Shawarmanji at mall of emirates but was very disappointed today with the branch in Terminal 1.I was very glad when I knew that they have a branch here on my way to flight but was very disappointed with quality.Mall of emirates is much much better in quality, taste & generosity. No consistency between branches that supposed to be.
So being in Dubai means eating a lot of Shawarma. There is shawarma in every corner and some chains that has got it right or rather pushed it a step up. Shawarmanji is one of them. I really like the concept of making shawarma the way they do. The filling perfectly blend together and tastes just right every time. So I usually order from them, the one time I visited was when I was at the airport. My personal favourite is the Signature ChickenManji BBQ Caramelised Onions. The chicken is properly cooked and the fillings just enough. The Caramelised onions give the whole shawarma a nice edge to the flavor. They have great packaging and design altogether.Must Try : ChickenManji BBQ Caramelised Onions.
An average place to get your Shawarma fix before you fly out. Pretty sure, these people are still better than a Shawarma joint you will find in a non-arabian destination.The shakers are an innovative option but again the taste itself is just average. And a special request to Shawarmanji to remove my number from their website or wherever they have listed it by mistake. Get a lot of calls from people asking for Shawarmanji. Tired of blocking these random numbers. Think it has something to do with a review I had posted ages ago for which the manager called me. Must have added NY number to some database by mistake. Nothing special or specific to write about except for the ambience and helpful staff. If you want real Shawarma better try it inland. This place is meant for those who look for a quick bite before boarding flights.
