Great place to enjoy open beach, water sports, drinks and finger food especially when you have kids along! Staff is extremely polite and considerate. Even though there was still time to open the kitchen despite that on our request the manager arranged food for kids. I always have a good time when i go there with my family. Keep up the good job guys.
We came to the resort for a team event and lunch was in the main restaurant as a buffet. A great selection of food and a highlight was the live cooking station which was doing Thai green or red curry. Would definitely come back. Free parking as part of the resort.
Captain’s is an outdoor, beachfront bar-restaurant at the venerable JA Jebel Ali Golf Resort. It’s one of those places you come to (preferably in shorts and flip-flops) for the outdoor ambiance, made special by its beach-sea view and the warm smiles and hospitality of the staff. The restaurant has two menus, lunch and evening. The evening menu is quite special as it includes Caribbean influenced dishes and barbequed items. For this purpose Captain’s has a dedicated (and really cool) BBQ pit on location – nice. The lunch menu is oh-hum, everyday stuff but still good. Both are quite pricy. If you’re already at the hotel and want a fun place to chill, this is a good option. Never heard good reviews about their sheesha. However we got a decent sheesha. I guess the problem was slow service from the sheesha makers. Drinks were decent but their virgin mojito was not impressive. Try it out if you are staying in the hotel as no other sheesha place nearby.
The place is pretty average. We were high on expectations for this place. The intention was to hv some drinks on the beach and that is why we covered a distance of 40 kms. Finding this place within the hotel was a challenge in itself. The decor and ambience were pretty ordinary. Since, it was a dry day, wr ordered moctails, which again was a disappointment.I would only like to try this place again, during day time in winters.
