Food – Outstanding. 9/10 (foods are tasty, loved We booked for half board at Palm Tree Court, chose this restaurant for dinner and breakfast (buffet). Drinks are charged extra.
Average food & overpriced. Also not much varieties on buffet menu. I wasn’t impressed that they also even charge on water. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and are planning to revisit soon. However, probably we will not choose this restaurant for dining next time.
Erm. For 190dhs on their friday grilled buffet, you can find better with few kms away like Movenpick Ibn or much in Dxb Marina. But since we are checked-in and preferred to have an immediate place for lunch, we don’t have a better choice. Sadly, this was our second time in the restaurant after 3yrs, only got worse. Better try the beach bars, better value even ala carte.

La Fontana is a buffet-style restaurant at JA Palm Tree Court, and it has literally every type cuisine you could possibly crave. We went there for lunch on the last day of our stay at the resort, and I really wish we would have discovered just how great it is sooner, because we would have definitely gone more than once.It’s same restaurant where hotel guests can enjoy the breakfast buffet, but it also opens for lunch and dinner buffets. Its located right next to the pool and there is indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to sit inside because its a bit chilly these days, well at least by Dubai standards.Although there is no reservation necessary, it’s recommended because it can get a bit packed. We went there in the middle of the lunch service, and were immediately seated next to the floor-to-ceiling windows, where we had a great view of the pool, garden and even the beach. The staff brought out a high chair for our baby Khalifa and after placing special cutlery sets for Khalifa on the table, we were shown to the buffet area.For starters, there’s a salad bar, and many kinds of appetizers and salads. My absolute favorite was the salmon and cream cheese swirls, but there were so many different options.The area where the mains were was so extensive. The choices could satisfy even the pickiest of eaters. The chefs prepared steaks, baked herb-crusted salmon, juicy lamb chops, and a variety of dishes from so many cuisines including Western, Indian, Arabic and Asian inspired food.There were even plenty of options for vegetarians. What I really liked about this restaurant is that its also very kid-friendly. There were plenty of babies around and there was even a small kids section of the buffet that had things like chicken nuggets and mashed potatoes and even marshmallows! There were also healthy options for kids like watermelon on a stick and other fruit treats.The dessert table had cakes, mousses, chocolates, fruit cakes, cheesecakes and Arabic sweets. If you want something a bit lighter, there were freshly cut fruits as an option as well.La Fontana is great if your staying in the hotel, but also if your looking for a good buffet- style lunch in Dubai. Went for a birthday lunch.It’s an awesome place I would love to come back definitely. This hotel itself is amazing as well as the staff , ambiance, décor and a lovely infinity pool and an wonderful pool bar. It’s only way too far, if you mix the right exit will end up in misery.
