There are some places that you can find decent authenticpizza, but so far this particular place is winning overall.We have no single remark on anything, just hoping that they will keep up with the great quality and taste that they offer now. New opening in the city walk area. Da Michele is a Italian famous pizzeria. Honest and simple menu, with almost 10 different pizza, appetizer and primi. I had a napoletana: very thin with a thick and Napoli style border. The prices are very good considering the quality and approach. I like it!
Ever since I watched the movie ‘Eat, Pray, Love’ all I have ever wanted to do was have pizza Julia Roberts style. I couldn’t resist when I heard that the same restaurant had opened it’s branch in Dubai and had to try it out ! Being in Dubai and located in City Walk, it comes with it’s own glittering dining experience with high rise roof, bright white lights and the slightly customized logo in comparison to the rustic, old-school look of the one in Italy. Coming to the pizza, we stuck to the classic Margherita with basil and it was very different from any pizzas I have tried so far. Eventhough the sauce was slightly watery but it was so fresh and light. The base was thin with the perfect wood oven baked corners. The pizza looks huge but if someone is hungry they CAN have an entire pizza. It is extremely light and airy and will not make you feel stuffed. The service was good as well ! I just wish they had better options for desserts.Must try guys !
