A usual American breakfast, but a beautiful place, makes it all very special! We stayed her and had opted for a breakfast! The spread was good ! A cozy little place tucked in a very very busy road amidst high rise buildings !
Had breakfast here as part of our weekend stay. The restaurant is set in the hotel atrium and gives it this bright open ambience, however the tables and chairs don’t seem to complement the space quite well (or maybe it’s the carpet). There was quite a good variety, but most of the items are typical of any breakfast. Salads, cold cuts, cheeses, fresh fruits and jucies, fresh baked pastries (kept hot), donuts, cakes, chicken/beef sausages, turkey bacon, hash browns, baked beans, fava beans, steamed veggies, scrambled eggs, garlic fried rice, paratha, kashmiri rajma curry, balila and then some.If there’s one thing I look forward to at any breakfast it’s the Hashbrowns, and though the ones here resembled a cutlet at first, a fresh batch was served hot and it was pretty good. The only other thing I liked and came back for was the Kasmiri Rajma, and it was superb. Overall it’s a decent breakfast, but definitely not one that I’d want to repeat. The service was good, the staff were friendly and quick at accommodating our group by putting tables together. Though I wished they’d clear the tables faster.
Trying out the café during dinner and breakfast, we could tell how they carefully chosen the Chef as the food especially the steak and biryani are cooked to perfection! The breakfast serves mainly Arabic courses and continental favorites such as baked beans, hash browns, sausages, omelettes with cold cuts, bread and salad section, dessert corner. In the morning, we loved how the ample natural light of the café gives the dining space a warm appeal. Same in the evening where it can be a romantic setting when the lights become dim. I also like the high ceiling since it made the restaurant looked more spacious. Also from their kitchen, we ordered pizza, pasta, fish and chips, milkshakes, all comes in great presentation and really delicious! The toblerone cheesecake was to die for! themomentkeepers.com
I’m not surprised at all with the Iftar buffet. Food is amazing! Having visited by both restaurant manager and chef to ensure we enjoyed our meal added to the personal service that we received. It’s a hidden gem along the busy road of sheikh zayed. You won’t get disappointed.
Here’s Villa Rotana’s best shot at walk-in diners who are too lazy to go over to the other side where bountiful options await. But let’s say for some secret reason you are stuck here, enjoy your time – because no one will come your way. It’s a nice oasis that’s stylishly done up. And the food, not bad either. I like their salads and salmon grill. Great detailing goes into the salad dressing. Enjoy you one to one with your dining partner, the friendly waiters are the only people you have as company.
