Visited la terace after a lovely day at the pool at Gloria hotel, we went for the friday buffet brunch, the stations were excellent, i tried the shirmps cocktail, salmon with butter, mixed grill, crab and quinoa salad. the variety was great, lots of seafood, sushi and other items on offer. the best was the peso calalmri. all this for 105 AED (we had the entertainer buy one get one free) drinks are free. will come again for a satisfying feast.
Went here for dinner with a couple of friends and ordered a Sheesh Tawook Sandwich (AED 37) while my friends ordered a range of dishes, namely their pasta, chicken shawarma sandwich, cheese manakeesh, grilled lamb kofta etc. We had requested for their AC tent and the staff were kind enough to let my friends do sheesha past the stipulated 9pm time. Some of us had given our cars for valet parking which is free if you can get the restaurant to stamp the valet ticket. Food wise, my Sheesh Tawook Sandwich was ok. Portion sizes are huge. I could only finish half of my sandwich and requested for the remaining to be packed for take-away.Overall a nice place for decent food, good ambience and staff who are accommodating.
The restaurant has an outside tent part which has its own menu & also serves sheesha. A great venue with excellent customer service – I would definitely be back. Entertainer vouchers are available and can be used on a variety of items. I had the KOFTA which was a tad dry & overdone but my friend had the CHICKEN PASTA which was absolutely amazing – I’d be back just for that.Huge portion size and happy hour on sheesha which is only 30dhs. A gem of a place!
La Terrassa has a buffet for lunch. The buffet options are very varied addressing different cuisines and it tastes nice. The restaurant design and service is very nice as well.
Went here for a business lunch before ramadan, the buffet was very nice, the fish and chicken was absolutely amazing, i could go back again just for that. They had a huge selection of desserts, and the staff was pretty polite too. Would love to try their dinner buffet someday
Bad experience for Iftar. They were not ready until few minutes before iftar.Very small buffet for the number of people there. The items disappeared very fast and we had to wait for long time for them to refill. The lamb meat disappeared fast with no replacemet.Noone removed the empty dishes from our table. The taste was good.Expensive for the quality quantity and service
I went yesterday with my family for their Iftar buffet and I was really really disappointed! La Terrasse used to be one of the restaurants that I always recommend to people in Ramadan and last year their buffet was amazing, however this year was an awful experience. Firstly, the quality of the food immensely decreased since last year; and even if I don’t compare it to last year, the food yesterday was of a very low quality, it wasn’t even seasoned or presented well and its taste was barely average. An even bigger problem however, is that the serving trays were not refilled when they ran out of food, they were simply left! I personally like to enjoy a bowl of soup before my meal, so by the time I got to the main course, there was practically no food for me to eat! What intensified this issue is that the buffet this year really really lacked variety and a whole lot of options that were available last year, were gone this year and even the options that were offered were very mediocre -nothing particularly stood out. Even service did not live up to the standard!! Considering that this buffet costed 140 Dhs, I believe I got nothing near the value for that money and I’m very unlikely to ever go to the restaurant again or recommend it to anyone, which is a shame because I used to absolutely love it!
