They have changed their location recently, i found some Lebanese restaurant in its old place, luckily found the new address in zomato while google maps was still showing the old location. Its next to ‘creative minds’ now. I have had food from this place several times before, right from the time they were just new, love the food, specially prawns wrapped in banana leaf prawns kizi. Its not just the sea food, everything else in the menu is great, biriyani is not my kind of biriyani but its good. What i like the most about this place is the freshness of food & hygiene. The new place is huge, well lit, beautiful, the last time i went to their old place which was extremely small with just 3 tables i think!? But fully packed, it was annoying but the good food made up to it. I wished they moved to a bigger better location and they did! 5* for ambiance 5 * for food 5 * for hygiene I hope they keep the quality intact.

Authentic, ample & lip-smackingly delicious–that’s how we can define the food at Mota Fish .Their Dishes brings in a flavour of Kerala which are clearly must-haves.Mota Fish has distinct flavors to offer from South India but also has a menu that will take you to God’s Own Country straight away.For the food :Sambharam – A spicy yogurt drink like Laban.Mint lime juice – Very refreshing that wasChicken Tikka – The chicken was something that tickles the taste of Kerala. Loved the white chicken. So good!Nadan koonthal fry (calamari fry)- The aromas of this dish awakens your senses which in turn fires the appetite and it is hard for the taste buds to resist the temptation of this dish.Dragon chicken – This dish sauteed with sweet and tangy sauce was such a delight. Good for kids as its mild spicy.Chemmeen mango curry – This curry infused with the mango curry is everything you want to have with the Kerala porotta and Wheat porotta. Kappa Masala – This kerala style Tapioca & Fish curry is such a hearty and delicious meal. Chocolate Molten Cake- The cake was moist and such an indulgence treat with the vanila icecream. The ambience is very luxurious and the gold embedded interiors and decor can take ur dining experience to the next level. Staff courteous and the owners provide a personalized dining experience to all customers in every table. Ample parking space and perfect for large get togethers. They have breakfast and lunch also. I am going back here to try more delicious nadaan cuisines.
Visited this place for Lunch. This is a small beautiful restaurant serving authentic south Indian Food. Really Reasonable rates on top of that they accept Zomato Gold.We ordered the Fish Kappa, Fish Curry, Prawn Fry and Natholi Fry.All the dishes were absolutely amazing Loved it.Generous portion, Reasonable price, fresh fish, great taste
I bet the photos looks good but the taste is equally opposite. Being a fish place the prawn fry and the king fish curry ordered were not fresh at all.Surprising that they served in 2 minutes and wasnt served hot.Wouldnt recommend.
If you’re ever craving good keralite food, this is the place to go.It’s a warm and cosy restaurant with a lot of traditional meal options, for example meals on a banana leaf, tapioca fish curry and porridge.My friends and I absolutely loved our food which included the chicken curry, meen curry and the kanii.We always end up at this restaurant if we crave south Indian cuisine.
If you love seafood and you haven’t tried mota fish yet , then you are certainly missing out on something . Mota Fish, a nice little restaurant located in Al Barsha ( close to Ramada Chelsea hotel ). Food : 5/5We tried their Grilled prawns and chicken chukka along side some Kerala parothas.. The Grilled prawns were simply delectable and made to perfection. Very good size as well.my only gripe is that it had just 4 pieces of prawns .Also loved their Chicken chukka. Very flavourful. Parothas were soft and freshly made. Value: 4/5Reasonably priced food. Quantities could be better. Glad it’s on Zomato gold adding to the value.Ambience and location: 4/5Decent Ambience. Restaurant is small in size but has outdoor seating aswell. would love to sit out in the winters but in summers you have to make do with limited indoor seating . Fairly easy to find and well located .Overall we loved our meal at Mota Fish. Would love to visit again. Highly recommended!
Tried this place last weekend. This is a small little place in Barsha which specializes in Sea food. Though I’m not much of a Sea food fan, I tried the prawns, chicken, Mutton.From the starters I would recommend to have the prawns fry. For mains I had the chicken biryani which was served from a bamboo stick. The biryani was like a South Indian type biryani which had less masala which I did not like it much.For desserts we had the gulab jamoon. All in all, it’s a nice super affordable place serving good quality South Indian food.
