Follow me on instagram: HighExpecTASTEion Usually I am not too high on pool bar themed restaurants because really, what is the pool going to do? Are you going to jump into pool between appetizer and main course? Probably not. I decided to check out Gloria’s Pool Bar location anyways and was glad that I did. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised and pleased to see that their pricing are down to earth, especially for a 4* hotel.I had their Thai veggie spring roll which I wish they have a little bit of originality with their sauce because the sweet chili is very basic and is often served by many restaurants who don’t want to work on their dishes and just throw the sweet and chili sauce on (look for this on a menu next time you go, you will pretty much be gauranteed to find at least one item with sweet chili and is claimed to be an Asian dish, I can guarantee it) Common guys, there are more flavours to Asian cuisine than sweet chili.Also had the Arabic mixed grill, which I am not an expert on Arabic food but they have the same spices that everywhere else seems to use for Arabic grills so about average on this dish.
