Went for our Anniversary and was not disappointed.Being vegetarian they made us veg dishes and made us feel comfortable. Enough said!Only suggestion for visitors is to go during day as sea view is missed during night.
I was catching up with a few friends who happen to be tourists while giving them a tour of old town Dubai I thought of dropping by this place for brunch. We went in for the brunch buffet, they have a very diverse variety of food, however, I was not impressed with the food. Speaking of the experience, if I am not mistaken, this is the only restaurant in Dubai which revolves 360°, giving you magnificent views of the city, the creek and the Persian Gulf, so while you are dining you get a different view every few minutes. Ratings & Comments:- Sushi (3/5) – Quiet average but considering the fact that this is not a Japanese restaurant they are quiet good. Smoked Salmon (3.5/5) – The only decent thing in the whole buffet.Chicken kebab (2/5) – Below average, dry and tasteless.Meat kebab (2/5) – Very gamey, very chewy, very disappointing.Steak (2/5) – Chewy, rubbery, not seasoned well, absolutely no flavor.Beef roast (1/5) – The worst roast I have ever had, let’s not get into the details of that let’s just say it was really bad.Fresh fruit cake (4/5) – Kudos to the pastry chef, the best thing in the buffet after the sushi, the cake was very fresh, very creamy and very fruity, just loved it.Service (4/5) – Amazing staff, very welcoming and very hospitable. Concept of the restaurant (5/5) – As I mentioned above, I loved the idea of a revolving restaurant, I enjoyed the spectacular view, kudos to the person who thought about this idea I am sure that person is a visionary. Suggestion – In my opinion, this is a brilliant restaurant, probably one of the oldest in Dubai, this place has great potential, the idea of the restaurant itself is mind-blowing, the restaurant is huge it’s very spacious and most important they have an amazing team of staff who take care of their customer. The only thing lacking here is the main thing, the food, I go around places I eat different food and from the first bite I can judge how the food is, maybe my taste buds are damaged but the other reviews which I read doesn’t suggest so, they all agree with me and I agree with them. So this is a request to the management if you guys could please improve the quality and the taste of the food, your business will definitely boom and along with the amazing view, you will also have happy customers with merrier tummy’s, who will keep coming back.
