If you’re a coffee-lover like me, then you will absolutely love the Coffee Museum. You’ll know it’s nearby when the aroma of roasted coffee beans touches your nose. It’s a place that truly showcases the connections between the past and the present coffee world (there’s Arabic style, Ethiopian style, Japanese style, etc.).As you go around, you will find a variety of roasting and brewing styles from different countries. There are some live demonstrations as well, to see how the coffee beans are prepared from seed to your cup. Apart from that, antiques from all over the world are seen displayed in the two-story gallery. You can also buy some of these at the museum shop, along with other coffee related items. A coffee shop can also be accessed on the second floor if you’d like to just chill and bask in the aroma-filled setting. You should also try their coffee-flavored ice popsicles. They’re one of the best that I’ve tasted in Dubai.
This is an excellent place for tourists. It gives a good feel of Dubai and at the same time has the old world charm. i tried their coffee which was brilliant. Will definitely try the other coffees on their menu.
Very authentic cafe in a heart of old Dubai. Here you can enjoy beautifully brewed coffee surrounded by classical coffee related equipment. For those who love coffee will surely enjoy a cup of it here!
A place with rich historical significance in Dubai . A true art in coffee brewing.Abdul Hamid is the person you should ask for when visiting this Museum. Abdul is a national competitor in the Cezve Ibrik Championship and will happily share with you his knowledge and expertise on all coffee related matters. Overall a great experience.
Hot Chocolate I found the place just by chance when I went to The Bastakiya. The ambience of the place was truly mesmerizing.Antique and retro style with those beautiful coffee machines and equally interesting seating and with the barista hard at work.I ordered a hot chocolate from there as I felt it would be perfect for the cold weather outside. But my expectations were too high that when I tasted the drink,it wasn’t hot at all.And it was too watery! The biscuit that came with it tasted very good though, with a coffee bean on top. That was something I really enjoyed more than the drink. For the ambience, you should definitely check out the place, but I say don’t have Hot Chocolate. And this place can totally catch any Coffee Lovers heart!
