Pretty good pasta!We visited Cross cultural cafe and bistro in Meena Bazar, Bur Dubai for a snack on a weekday. It is situated in Arabian Courtyard Hotel. The interiors of the restaurant are colorful although some of the antiques can be avoided to make it look less cluttered.We ordered for the Penne arabiatta – it was a bit disappointing as the proportions of penne and sauce were not balanced. It was spicy and tasty but the balance can be improved.The staff is polite and the ambience is good but can be improved by minimizing the props. I had come across an article for Friends Themed Resto, I have been wanting to go there for a long time now. (PS: We are obsessed with ‘Friends’) However, except for the sofa there is nothing “Friends” themed around there. On the Plus side, they serve alcohol and are very decently priced. I had a House Red Wine for 25dhs, The wine didn’t taste great. Was good enough. I ordered a Shakshuka. Which was pretty decent and the quantity was also good. My wife ordered for strawberry cake, which actually wasn’t that great. It also tasted a little old.Probably because of the location, The restaurant was a little dusty. That said, they have some great deals. Like a Beer+Burger for 49/-
