Desi Bistro is located in the Al Fahidi Souq in Al Fahidi Market or popularly known as Meena Bazaar. We went there for dinner last week. Since the weather is nice nowadays we opted to sit outdoors.We had Mint Mojito and Sweet lassi for Mocktails. Both were refreshing. Tried Raj Kachori followed by Veg Hakka noodles and Veg Manchurian. Everything was super delicious.
A place with very laid back service and average food. We had ordered a Kebab Combo , Masala Dosa and Pav bhai . The service is so pathetic that for a dish like Pav Bhaji we had to wait for 40 mins , the server gives us an excuse saying that Pav ( bun ) got burned that’s why it took 40 mins . Seriously? Atleast come up with some better excuses . And even after the delay they are not bothered even apologising . Please refrain from visiting this place .
Located at the corner of al fahidi souk. We had gujrati and punjabi unlimited thali. Both have similar content except variation of few items. Overall good food & service.
