The simple cafeteria that I mostly took my breakfast, located in between Ghubaiba and my home neighboring many cafeterias as well. Nice staffs and welcome, also cheap for most of the food.

Let’s admit you are never going to come looking for this place. But what caught my interest was the queue of cars lining up for chai. Chai was just ok, I’ve had better. Apart from the chai I must admit, I’ve tried their chicken chukka with Kerala parota and this is a winner at less than AED10, this is a true bachelor staple. I’ve been looking for a malabar style chicken chukka ever since my local cafeteria closed and this is my current go to joint. eatdrinktrainreview.com
This review can be a little biased as this cafeteria is right below my building entrance. And perhaps because I have a big involvement in their turnover thanks to the thousands of cups of tea I’ve had from here. Jokes apart, it’s a decent cafeteria. Your usual ‘mallu’ cafeteria that offers snacks, tea, cigarettes and other stuff. Their tea is quite good. You’ll find police cars pull up to have a cup quite often. They offer burgers, sandwiches, juices, fried snacks, dosas and quite a few other fast food items. Their pakodas and black chanas sell like crazy in the holy month of Ramadan. So next time you’re around, grab yourself a malbari paratha and some kadak chai. Recommended!
