Excellent place to celebrate your special occasions sitting inside a ship with a grans view of the sea and spending leisure hours enjoying their widespread buffet. I enjoyed the arabic cuisine and the fish dishes the most. Even the dessert dishes were quite mouthful. You surely need a few hours to truly enjoy this lavish buffet. The staff waa also very prompt and polite. They were excellent in providing a small cake to celebrate my brother’s birthday. One must go and have a lavish lunch there to truly enjoy the view. And do not forget to take a tour afterwards to unravel some astonishing fact about this ancient ship. Truly a great experience!

It’s not everyday you get to dine in one of the most iconic ocean liners ever, but when you do, the excitement is on a totally different level. We had some friends visiting and decided on Lido. We visited on a Friday and the theme of the night was Mediterranean. Located on the quarter deck, it is a fairly large place with an outdoors smoking deck. Seating is well spaced out affording diners privacy. The service is top notch and the staff is really friendly.They had a wide selection of Salads, Mains and Desserts and there was a live cooking station for Pastas. The Roast Beef and Mango Panna Cotta require a special mention and were absolutely divine.This place deserves a 5* because of the location, service and buffet spread. PS. With a storied history spanning 50 years, she continues her legacy as a 13 deck hotel, dining, entertainment and events destination – docked permanently at Dubai’s Mina Rashid.Indian Gastronomy Night: We always wanted to go to QE2 to expereince what its like to be on this great ship. We got an opportunity to try their newly launched Culinary world cruise series. The buffet features favourite curries, Indian salads, breads, pickles and starters (including a smoking chaat station) and more. Yes yes meetha bhe tha woh bhe full desi – Gulab Jamun, Saffron Rice Kheer and Ras Malai. The most special thing about the expereince is that you get to be part of the 50 years legacy along with the authentic flavour of Indian Cuisine.
Having buffet breakfast in Lido is one the best decision to do in Queen Elizabeth 2. With wide selection of food, the food I intake is good for one day haha! I specifically love the beef bacon. Though everything in the menu taste so good, promise! Even the eggs! Sit with the scenery of the water/beach to make the experience more beautiful. I will definitely go back here just to have a hearty breakfast!
Went on Monday night, Ambience is great. Service is courteous and efficient, Thai green n red curry was awesome in the Live station , also loved the mix grill meat. There was no jasmine rice, so had to go for Basmati rice with Thai curry. Had a enjoyable evening. Personally feel there should have been more options for starters though.
