The mark of a good restaurant is not necessarily its size, but the quality of its food and the generosity of its staff. Justifying this thought is MAQ café located in the cramped lanes of Meena Bazaar.The café has been creatively built with solid graphics on each item. From the tables to tissues to glasses all have beautiful MAQ branding. Some of the well-established places also fail to achieve this uniformity. They have few tables outside only. No inside seating which obviously makes them more popular only during the winters. Take away or delivery is the best option if you want to try it out.The menu is a total winner with prices ranging as low as AED 1 to 15. Desi food which is simple and basic and can totally qualify as comfort food.I tried few dishes and my favorites were Masala Soda, Man chow Maggie, Oman chips roll and masala chai. Cute little café in the hidden lanes of meena bazaar. If you live in the area its perfect for home delivery as the location is not that great . Apart from that everything was a hit ! The food if amazing and prices even more. We had cucumber mint ginger juice. Very refreshing ! Manchow maggie and oman chips Maggie were served in bowls just like we eat at home. The taste was very good. Highly recommended . Oman chips roll were also delicious. Average sized. You could go for 2 of them if very hungry or having it as a meal. Biryani chai my favorite. Black tea with masala and spices to the point. Do try out this spot .
