Best restaurants ever, good food, fast service, wonderful staffs, nice views. Most enjoyable Cleopatra special chicken it’s fantastic, with experience chef.More salads are one of a million Hummus, tabouleh, mutable so nice with Arabic bread.

The best food, the best service, the best staff. Speed of service is beyond phenomenal!. I enjoyed the succulent , mouthwatering Grilled tenderloin steak which was served with broccoli sprouts, French fries and mushroom sauce.I love the location. The proximity of the hotel to the museum. I love the view of the museum from the restaurant. Pharaoh cafe and restaurant is the place to go to for the best meals!!

decent interiorsHardly any staffWe ordered for the club sandwich and Cous cous sea food salad .After 30 min of order we were informed cous cous is not available . After another 20/25 min when we really made some noise we were served our sandwich .There was only one staff , who was new and could not be much of assistance.Really poorly managed outlet.Definitely not recommended and never coming back .Happy Exploring

We went for the Thursday Seafood night. Started with Thai soup which was nice. The salad counter was ok, with limited selection. Susi counter was a let down in terms of variety & taste. We were mainly interested in the live counter. The selection of prawns, lobsters, fish was adequate; however we did not like the taste, particularly the oil they use in the live station. Although we mentioned this to the chef after the first order, the next one was prepared in the same fashion. Service was nice. Also just to add – they do not accept Gold on the Seafood night.

Beautiful restaurant setup, feels Egypt every where, nice artifacts, perfect start with a lavish breakfast, and the service is spot on. Very happy to be here

The taste of the food is in its presentation and eating too!Pharaoh Cafe & Restaurant is situated in Arabian Courtyard Hotel & Spa, in Meena Bazar, Dubai. It serves Arabic and Mediterranean food too. It is good for a family gathering or even a business meeting. We visited as a group of delegates for lunch on Friday and Saturday, as we were attending a 2-day workshop at the hotel. It is easy to locate as it’s situated opposite Dubai Museum. We did not have a buffet setting, nor did we order a la carte – the menu was either decided earlier by the organizers (as we were attending a workshop) or it was a set menu at the restaurant. Here is a combined review of what we tasted on both days:1. Soup: We were served cream of mushroom soup on the first day – it was served hot and was creamy and tasty. On the second day, the lentil/potato soup arrived late and it was not hot in temperature as was expected and neither was it tasty. We had to request for the soup as the staff seemed to have forgotten to serve it!2. Salads: The fatoush was tasty and so was the potato salad. But one of the delegates who had only salad that day, had an upset tummy later. 3. Rice: This was Egyptian rice – what was surprising was that we were served a chicken dish which contained very little gravy to go with the rice! 4. Beef chilly: The beef dish was tasty.5. Crumb fried fish: This was served on both days – it was a treat! A must try!6. Beef steak: This was served medium rare and was pink on the inside, something which not everyone would prefer. The waiter/waitress should have asked what the customer would prefer, before serving it.7. Stir-fried mixed vegetables: They were quite tasty but should be served hot.8. Patata harara: These cubes of fried potatoes were delicious.9. Dessert: The date tart was too sweet and the ice cream was probably out of a carton. The cheesecake was pretty good. The ambience was alright, a little cluttered with too many Egyptian antiques – the space could be used to redesign the place and accommodate more tables. The entrance to the restaurant was not well lit. The staff was friendly, polite and obliging on the first day (Friday), but the service crashed on the second day (Saturday)! The staff had to be reminded to serve the food. The food was ready and assembled on the side-table, all they had to do was serve it! Very lax service on the Saturday, although there was a multitude of staff.Valet parking is available at the hotel, but you have to be extremely patient when handing in your car and getting it back. It took me about 15-20 minutes to get my car back from the valet. On the Saturday (second day), we were waiting for 15 minutes on the main road, to hand in our cars, and we were late for the workshop.Note: There seems to be shortage of food at the restaurant – it was noted, for instance that all the guests did not get the same dessert, although we were not offered a choice of desserts. Also, when one of the delegates asked for a second helping of a dish, she was told that it had been exhausted!
