  Useless restaurant for a family. Don’t bother visiting. Crappy food and service is a joke. The new management has completely spoiled the brand. It was a delight to visit this place 7 years back. It is now pathetic.

  I had been today to this restaurant with my family to have vishu sadhiya. TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED. The restaurant told us to sit on a table where food was already served on banana leaf. The food was cold, tasteless. The service was bad. Lastly the bill was 40AED. Never will i vist this place.

  I had some vouchers for this restaurant so I went there with my family for lunch yesterday. The staff told us that the restaurant management has changed and the name is now Malayoram. The place is a bar and restaurant and they have a family room as well. We ordered two Fish Thalis and Two Veg. Thalis. I was hungry and getting impatient as the food took quite a while to arrive, and I was feeling a little as if I shouldn’t have come here. However, when my Veg. Thali arrived, it looked appetizing and I started eating immediately. I was pleasantly surprised as it tasted delicious with different vegetables and the Kerala rice. I enjoyed the food so much that I finished it within a few minutes. My all-time favourite Payasam dessert was also part of the Thali and I loved every spoon of it. I asked the waitress for a little more Payasam and she brought us two containers. My family also enjoyed the Fish Thalis they ordered. Quantity was quite good for AED 24 which was reduced to AED 12 with our vouchers. The restaurant management needs to do some marketing and also to brighten up the restaurant atmosphere and play some music as it was quiet and dull. The Palm Beach hotel where they are located is one of the older hotels in Dubai since the 80s and I guess not many guests visit there these days due to so many new hotels available in Dubai.

  This place is primarily for alcohol. They have some good offers too. As for the food part, I had the Fried squids on the recommendation of a friend. They were hard and rubbery. A total let down. The Papaddam was extremely oily. I don’t expect it totally oil free but neither do I expect it to have a few spoons of oil on it. The Service is ok. famishedexplorer.com

  Landed up with memories of decent mallu grub from years back. Was hoping to dig into a decent Onam sadhya. Turned out to be the worst sadhya that I have ever had. Started from the missed reservation, and led into poor service. No fault of those serving.. They were completely clueless on protocol, and unable to deal with requirement. And worst of all.. The food was sad. Nothing to redeem the whole experience. Nothing at all. Will not be back.

  Asked Budweiser served Heineken. Couldn’t recognise without tasting as we asked for a picture, thus couldn’t return and ended up having something which we didn’t want. All seemed out of place and yeah, you guessed it right. Will never pay a visit there again.

  One day I went to have food from this restaurant. I was a person who used to always go there those days the food was really tasty but now the food is terrible. They have a large menu but known of the things a avalaible there.
