I had my breakfast at Tesoro when I was staying at the Taj Dubai a couple of times. The decor of the restaurant is nice and contemporary, and I’m sure the views in the evening are quite good. Since I was only here for breakfast, my review will only be about that. As a vegetarian, finding an accommodating breakfast buffet at a Dubai hotel can be quite a task. I’ve in the past eaten only fruits and some bread at the Armani, the Address and the like. Tesoro offered quite a few vegetarian options (mostly Indian, not complaining). I don’t seek out Indian food when I travel abroad, but won’t deny it at times of great hunger or after a vigorous workout at the nearby Fitness Centre. The food is quite tasty, and being a buffet, the staples were all there. One big grouse is how crowded it gets during all hours of breakfast. While much can’t be done about that, the placement of the buffet stations was quite puzzling. Each time you want to reload your plate, there is a walk involved, navigating through the confusingly placed tables. The service is attentive and courteous, but takes a bit longer that you’d like due to the crowds. Since the breakfast was part of the room, I wouldn’t know about the price. Ultimately, if you are staying at the Hotel, Tesoro is more than satisfying to enjoy your breakfast.

I was staying at the Taj for business from 10-13th November 2017 and ate here twice.Decor:Beautiful inside and outside seating.Service:Attentive, polite and friendly staff.Food:Great selection especially their pastries. I loved their watermelon juice, Kibbeh, cheese pastries and Madeleine(plain and blueberry both).Recommendations:Replace the roast potatoes with the unhealtier but tastier hash browns.As a guest i got complimentary breakfast at this lovely place so cannot advise on value for money.
I came here for the first time since my friend recommended this. The server Shivam was very attentive and helpful and the food was even better, Sea bass is a must try. Over all outstanding experience, will come again for sure
Business lunch with office mates! Last minute table booking but the arrangements went smooth including a surprise cake! Loved the decor and the service. Ordered business lunch with two courses and had lots to choose from including vegan options. We tried multiple items like smoked salmon with avocado, risotto, sea bass, beef short ribs bolognese and Thai green curry. Every item tasted good and would recommend this joint and wonderful hosts!
Awesome place n gr8 food ..we really had a gr8 time , from tempura salads to wraps n tawa sea bass to the finishing brownie..everything tastes gr8,the best part was Zomato gold privilege, gonna visit again for sure n yeah not to be forgotten our server Shivam , very polite n courteous. Thanx a lot
Just a couple of minutes before I had my lunch at this Restaurant named Tereso in Taj Dubai. Tereso is a Restaurant for Casual Dining with Speciality in the Cuisines like Continental and Salads. The Decor of the Restaurant is really good. It is focusing more on the Red Colour Theme. The Entrance is Dim-Lighted but as you go in it has Small Swings for Kids and Tall Tables and Plus normal Tables as you proceed even further. Outdoor Seating is also available. It was a quite place may be because it was afternoon time.At evenings and nights it might be a bit loud. The Staff of the Restaurant is Attentive and Courteous. The Service is Quick. We ordered for a Lavendra Nojito. In the first attempt. It was perfectly made and I was curious to try it.The ingredients it included were Coconut Water,Lime,Mint,Lavender Spiced Sugar and Soda. Throughly Enjoyed it and along with it we ordered for Vegetable Club Sandwich. Sandwich was very filling. Along with other vegetables it included Avacado as well. It was first time that I had tried Avacado in a sandwich. But it tasted really well. The Sandwich was served along with French Fries and Salad. So it was a complete one person meal. And to end today’s lunch we ordered for a Cafe Latte. The Cafe Latte was very bitter but after adding Sugar it was a little better. But Cafe Latte is generally not expected to be so bitter. Overall it was a nice experience to visit this place. Would love to visit again.
