Had a dinner with friends and enjoyed the overall ambience and the food was really easy on the palate. Everything from the grilled calamari and beef croquet starters to the mains of grilled prawns with citrus emulsion and mussels in champagne and cream sauce was delectable. Service started off great with a very attentive server, however later we were left to approach the bar ourselves as it was difficult to get the attention of the waitstaff. One just plain ignored us and went to clearing and setting up her table when we tried. Also the non smoking section is just across the bar area (am not sure if people are allowed to smoke by the bar) but came back with really smoky smelling clothes. These slightly messed up what could have been an overall fantastic experience.
