nothing french about their brunch. allwe had for brunch were some silly starters nothing near to French cuisine, and for mains their served us Arabic shawarma style wraps! The only thing we liked was the J@T. Sparkling wine which came with alcohol package was a cheap Brut. The place was bursting with girls available to get hired for money.
Visited this restaurant 3 times now. Actually we managed to eat there only the first time and everything was great, there was an eastern european host who explained the menu and recommended the specialties. Food was excellent and we especially liked their twist on the escargot. However, next time around we were turned away in an otherwise completely empty restaurant with the host saying terrace was closed due to weather (mildly windy and great temperature outside btw) so we had to go to other place nearby (note that all other restaurants in 3D had open terrace on this pleasant autumn evening). And the latest attempt was a failure as well as the host told us she will not turn down the music volume in the again completely empty dining hall (where we were the first and only guests) as the music was pounding in the entire place making it impossible to communicate, although all the guests were in the bar room. Really it is such a shame as the food is great, but they way that people manage this place and treat guests is very strange at best so we wont be trying our luck there again.
Lovely french restaurant with beautiful music, lovely staff, delicious dishes, and a full house!We started off with Snails, Poached Jumbo Shrimps, and Creamy Burrata. Without a doubt, the snails and burrata were the best. Highly recommend all to try the snails.For main course, we ordered Canadian Lobster and Grilled Corn Fed Chicken Breast. The chicken was well cooked and full of juicy flavours. It has crispy veges on the side that tasted good. The Lobster was placed on top of mixed veg mashed potato. I wish there was more lobster on that plate but was delicious nonetheless.Ended our meal with a dessert and a lovely glass of Shiraz. Alcohol is priced reasonably so grab a drink and some food and enjoy the night.

As there are not many French restaurant in Dubai, it is always important to appreciate a great experience when you come across one and Chez Charles is definitely one to not miss.
I’ve been planning to visit Chez Charles for a while now, and I recently finally got the opportunity to. It is located in the beautiful Dubai Design District and getting into the restaurant becomes even more beautiful. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. I visited Chez Charles to try the Saturday brunch and the place was packed! You get to choose on which drinks package you would like to have, a beautiful selection of salads and appetizers that will bring joy to your taste buds, four mouthwatering live cooking stations, and an amazing selection of desserts. I can’t get over how astonishing the Pain Perdu tasted. It is definitely one of the best that I have tried. Highly recommended!!
As the picture says most of it, the salmon tasted as good as the picture. Though it is bit pricey but worth every bite.Staffs are friendly and restaurant is good for lunch/dinner. They do have offers on Ladies night, breakfast.
