  I attended the Taste of crab market- Zomato event at the eponymous restaurant on 8th of October, with my friend. We were welcomed into a wide and very large restaurant on the 15th floor with truly magnificent view of the business bay area. The whole wall was covered in glass. The decor was truly fine dining style and with a superb open kitchen and all the crabs and seafood were on display in water tanks. A nice wine stock was also on view.The seating area was really of many styles, comfort and varieties. Great colour combinations and designs were seen and appreciated.So, overall the ambience and decor with the view is world class.We had a talk with Mr. Patrick, the CEO of the restaurant, fresh from the Big Apple of NY. He is trying to incorporate new and exciting ideas for the restaurant and he does have some work to do on that aspect. Specially the service part.•We were given an abbreviated menu to choose from in each section of starters, mains and desserts. Beverages were also there.●Our choices were the following-Starters-1. Grilled octopus and smoked paprika aioli. 4/5. the slices of octopus were great but too much of mashed potato under it. balance is less in my opinion. 2. Tartare platter-5/5- Scallops and papaya, Tuna and avocado, Salmon and mango. All three of them were fantastic. Probably the best item on the day. Mains-3. Soft shell crab with signature sauce. 4/5- fried well, very less in amount considering it being a main item. But tasted fine. Didn’t like sauce much though. 4. Chilean seabass with white asparagus and miso. 5/5- Excellent taste of the fish. There was a confusion regarding availability of this dish but after talking with the organisers and the CEO, that was sorted out. Desserts-5. Pistachio creme brulee. Quite good. Creamy inside. 5/56. Chocolate mousse. Superb plating. 5/5Drinks-7. Passion fruit mojito.8. Mixed fruit juice.The tastes of all the items were consistently delectable. Plating was great. If the serving standards and knowledge of the staffs about the menu can be improved, then this restaurant would be really the place to go in the city.With great expectations..I can recommend to visit at least for the view and great relaxed surroundings.

Quality of food: 5/5 ( From appetizers we ordered the grilled octopus & tartare platter which I love it , for the main we chose the squid ink linguine and the staff suggested us the baked market fish which was excellent , we ended with Chocolate Mousse and Pistachio Creme Brulee.2. Service: 4/5 (waiters were friendly and welcoming , the food takes some time to be prepared but it’s not that long )3. Ambiance : 5/5 (the place is spacious with nice view over Dubai downtown and burj area )

  Crabs are the best seafood dishes followed by Shrimps to me!I visited Crab Market for an event and I was truly surprised how seafood could be served and taste so differently in ever single dish served.The staff suggested some dishes and I went along with it. We started off with Grilled Scallops with Parmesan along with Grilled Octopus with Smoked Paprika Aioli. Both the dishes were amazing but scallops surely won the best appetizer.For main course, we had King Crab with Black Pepper Sauce and Soft Shell Crab with Champagne Sauce. Two types, delicious flavour, and a filling dish.We ended our meal with an innovative plating of Chocolate Mousse and Pistachio Creme Brulee.Wonderful service, great wines on order, lovely staff and beautiful interiors.

  One of the top fine dinning restaurant right in heart of Financial hub of Dubai. It is exclusive restaurant for seafood.Very good view from 15th floor, comfort and elegant.Tuna with Avocado was good as starter, also Grilled Scallops with Parmesan was good.Chilean Seabass with white Asparagus & Miso was very good.

  First time to visit this place and was impressed with the interiors and amazing view. Live crabs, fresh lobster, shrimp ,fish – a seafood haven. Food was delicious and nicely presented. Staff were all friendly and accommodating, would love to go back again. Dishes we tried: Grilled scallops with parmesan Tartare Platter Baked fish with tomatoes and artichokes Chilean seabass with white asparagus and misoChocolate moussePistachio creme brulee
