I have been to several buffets and my expectations were quite high when i visited Ewaan due to their high rating on Zomato. However, I was disappointed with the lack of variety and quality of food. Most of the meat dishes were overcooked. However, their prawns curry tasted good. Overall, its highly unlikely that I’ll pay another visit.
This is my third visit to EWAAN’s buffet, And I have to say it is one of the best buffets in town. Once was for Iftaar and a couple of times for the Friday Brunch. They have an exquisite spread, It is almost impossible to list them down. From Seafood to Salads to Indian and Arabian Food & even Dimsums. They are all delicious and the staff is as courteous as it gets.I was welcomed by staff right at the entry to Ewaan, Assisted me to my seat also gave me a tour of the Buffet. I was asked for the drink first. Right now, it’s around AED 505 for Brunch with Unlimited Alcoholic Beverage. There was 2 Red, 2 White and 2 Rose to choose from in Wines. There were pretty much all the hard liquors available too. They regularly came to check on the refill. As for food, I loved the salads, There were Seafood Salads, Arabic and Continental Salads. All of them were amazing. The Cauliflower Salad and Prawns Mango Salad is highly recommended. There were different types of bread, Indian Breads were available too. There was a Lamb biriyani and other Kebabs and Chicken Dishes. There was a live Foie gras section, and it was really really nice. There were Chicken, Prawns and Veg Dim-sums. The Desserts were nice and had more than a couple of dozen dishes. The Dates Cake was my favorite. All in all, It’s totally worth it. Make sure to reach at around 01:00 itself otherwise it will be too short a brunch. They close at around 04:30.Must Try : Cauliflower Salad, Prawns & Mango Salad, Smoked Hamour, Foie gras & Dates Cake
I’m not usually one for buffets but if you are, this is the one to go. Among their extensive spread, their lemon butter salmon and mandi stood out. Also, the views of the fountain are beautiful from just outside this restaurant.
