We tried many of their macrons.. And they all were tasting very good.. But, my personal favorite is the anything that has chocolate inside.. Obviously, due to my weakness for chocolate.. . Their Nutella Brownie is also of my favorites. Will visit again sometime soon to try out new things..
Shame that this place doesn’t have a higher rating. I am thoroughly impressed with their service and I utterly adore their afternoon tea. I have been here for 3 years I a row and made it a tradition to take my mother for afternoon tea for her birthday. Their food is amazing, their coffee and tea selection is quite amazing for a small lounge cafe. Their bites are great and they will make anything for you whilst applying dietary restrictions. I do love the ambience and when the pianist plays as it is the perfect ambience for a relaxed outing with someone you love or a group of business associates.
I went for the place the pointe a new destination by Meras in Dubai, went to Guylian to try their breakfast it was tasty and the staff was very friendly and the location also it good in the winter season specially to have an outdoor seatings and have a walk after the meal
It was a very nice place to have afternoon tea. There was a live piano show at 1 PM too. I am glad I went to Sofitel. Will definetely come back next time! Thank you so much for the excellence service, staff were very helpful and friendly. I love every single aspect from Sofitel Downtown.
The afternoon tea in the lobby was really lovely- rich selection of tea, favorite english and french treats and a pianist playing in the background.I really enjoyed rooibos tea, raspberry eclairs, tea macarons and scones. I tried the Afternoon Tea at Sofitel Downtown; this was one of the nicest afternoon Tea I have ever had in Dubai. Food was amazing; it looked beautiful and tasty. Chouquette is so yummy. Staff made us feel very, very welcome (special thanks to Jane K). From my experience, I highly recommend this place.
Was here for an event , as we reached ealry thought to spend some time in lobby , so saw this pastry cafe in the lobby , very classy pasty cafe ideal for high tea and meetings,just had an espresso and a macaroon . Very friendly staff they have and nice display of dessert . shabosphere.wordpress.com
