  A very nice Italian restaurant. Been there a couple of times. Tried their ala carte and buffet. Loved their pastas. The staff are very friendly.

  I was invited here following a medical conference in the hotel.A seriously cosy, personalised feeling is there in this medium sized continental,Italian restaurant. The interiors make you feel comfortable and warm. Decoration is not overwhelming but homely.The buffet we had was not having a great variety but all the usual Italian suspects were there.I had roasted vegetables, pizza slices, some grilled meat and fish. Different salads, smallish desserts menu. Live cooking for pasta. Choices of cheese.A limited but good menu in a respectable surrounding is what you expect here. Service is appropriate.

  Amazing experience..a small restaurant in size but food quality is amazing and service is great.. Friendly staff buffet is not over the top but whatever is on offer is of very good quality..will be back soon

  I don’t really eat out much but when I visited this restaurant my stomach growled ‘Nah!’ Even though the ambience and service were decent, the food was below average!

  Came here for an evening buffet, have to say that Italian buffets aren’t that common which is why this struck my curiosity. The buffet is pretty small, salads are virtually. nonexistent, just basic greens are laid out. No breads either..The main courses presented to order pasta dishes, risotto stuffed eggplant, some protein and lasagna. The presented pizza was not one you would expect to find in an Italian place but rather an international buffet where pizza is an afterthought. However, Main courses were decent tasting. The desserts were also quite limited. What makes up for the above though is the very cozy atmosphere, the restaurant is quite small and rustic. For a buffet price of 125 (175 with alcohol) it’s not bad, but not the best.

  Diner buffet party and divine eggplant risotto, tapenade and mussels. Overall the cheese selection was divine & tasted squid ink pasta for the first time. Crowded with Italians & they were really satisfied with the produce that they started singing in the comfortable little restaurant.

  Went to Luigis after a shoot at the venue and was advised we could have dinner here. It was a very cozy restaurant with dim lighting and low ceilings- surprisingly inviting. The menu was limited but everything looked delicious. I ordered the caprese salad and it tasted really fresh. Even the mozzarella cheese was so good. For the main course, i ordered the mint lamb chops with mushroom risotto. The serving size although good for one is enough to fill you up. I was not expecting anything so i was so pleasantly surprised when i found that the lamb was perfectly cooked, still pink and tender. When i cut into it, i honestly felt i was on the set of Masterchef with Gordon and Joe saying how perfectly cooked the lamb is! The only thing that was not perfect was the risotto, as i found it mushy and not al dente as how i like it. I recommend this place for romatic quiet dinner dates – definitely a must try! jelgueco.com
