Perfect cafe for a quick bite located in the hotel lobby. I just loved their triple chocolate, which was a chocolate brownie with chocolate ice-cream and sauce, topped with walnuts. It was heavenly. We also ordered turkish coffee and a caramel coffee frappe. I loved how they served coffee in a traditional turkish coffee pot. Would love to visit again on next trip.
Quick review for a quick visit. I ordered iced coffee since I was in a rush. Staff Rodalene was very eager to attend to my order and I got served within just 2 minutes. Impressive service. The place is cosy and spacious, simple but elegant. Good place for business meet-ups or just for a quick bite. Didn’t get to look at their food menu since I was in a hurry but will definitely come back. Looking at those desserts in the glass bar while leaving was amazing and heartbreaking at the same time.

City Cafe is my fresh discovery for quiet, lobby cafe’s :). The place has been around for ages but I have just never ventured trying it, until today when a colleague suggested catching up there.A pretty nice, quiet and cozy place with lots of natural light and comfortable seating. It’s part of the Murooj Rotana Hotel Apartments complex, hence almost like their lobby lounge/cafe.They mainly offer soft beverages with a limited variety of pastries and desserts. Their presentation of beverages is excellent, matching the standards of a 5-star hotel and the staff and service are great. Very polite and efficient.A perfect place if you looking for something quiet and nice in the Sh. Zayed Road/Downtown area.
