Went in to try the Tokyo brunch. Loved the setup, spread and ambiance. The staff was super cool and the dancers were entertaining. The sushi was outstanding and also was the bbq. The set menu was also tasty. Loved everything. Highly recommended.
Ok, so let me start by saying that the food is good, very good. Full marks to the chef but my friends service is bad really really bad. Considering we went last Saturday where there were only 2 or 3 tables occupied including ours, our drinks were not refilled, no one cleared the table. We really had to get up and ask for attention. Really sad. Plus chipped wine glass was is an absolute no goer for me. Never going back again.
Another one off the list! I love the interiors and the ambience. It’s very comforting, yet chic. Since it was a Sunday afternoon, it was really empty, quiet and perfect! We ordered a couple of dumplings and gyozas to start with. The chicken and prawn shumai was nice and the truffle paste added some elevation to it. The chicken Satay dumplings and the wagyu gyozas, however, I would skip. The filling was overlooked and lost most of its flavour. The Peking duck boa was good, with the corriander giving it an extra zing. For mains, my favourite was the wok stir fry beef. The meat was so succulent and full of flavour. We had with the chicken fried rice and it complimented each other well. For dessert, the molten chocolate cake with matcha was good. But it was accompanied with ice cream (which tasted like it was made out of condensed milk) and hazelnuts which were a little stale. From the other reviews, it looksike it’s a banging place in the evenings. So I guess I’ll try that next.
