Being a south Indian, Appams, dosas and hoppers come very close to my heart and the flavours familiar helped me enjoy the cuisine in comfort.Galle Fort Hot Butter King Prawn (sauteed prawns in a chilli butter sauce, served with tempered dosa)Loved the sauce. So rich but light at the same time. Negombo Rock Lobster(Wok tossed robster meat in a chilli citrus garlic sauce served with gothamba roti, a flaky paratha like flatbread)Down South King Fish Curry(King fish simmered in a coconut milk based gravy served with Srilankan Hoppers)Dessert was Salted Caramel Appa, a Ceylonese Hopper made crunchy topped with vanilla icecream and salted caramel sauce.)Loved the caramel especially.It was a delight to be served here, I should say. The restaurant and its bar must be the primitive reason for naming a place a fine dining one!
The variety of the maki rolls are very vast so they definitely have something for everyone even a beef maki roll whoch was interesting. We loved all the maki rolls and the edamame was served with three different spices which were all delicious. Our favourite rolls were definitely the shrimp tempura and califonia rolls. We would definitely go back to explore other rolls.
