Ordered 2 wraps and 2 samoon sandwiches. The samoon escalope was burnt, tasted burnt and barely had escalope in it. Picture attached. The sujok samoon was okay. The chicken wrap had no chicken in it, barely enough for one bite. Now the Kofta Wrap: smelled and tasted funny like it was rotten. We couldn’t bite twice. It was horrible!!!! To top it off, the boxes of fries were only half full. Could be one box instead of two halves.Zaroob used to me one of our favorite delivery places – after today, never again.
I have always enjoyed going to Zaroob mainly because the food is really good and the place itself has a funky feel to it. The staff is helpful with ordering in case you’re not sure and the service is quick. My favourites to order are – Chicken shawarma hummus, minced meat and pomegranate man’oushe, chicken garlic wrap, Kraft cheese fatayer and the star dish their Koshari. I would imagine that all the dishes here are going to be tasty and won’t disappoint. If you like Arabic food and want a nice chilled out space then definitely try out Zaroob.
I absolutely love coming here and ordering from here. This is one of the best arabic restaurants. It is also slightly elevated in standard then most restaurants and its not that pricey. I must have eaten 500 times at zaroob and seriously no problems whatsoever.
I was disappointed with the Baked Falafel as it thin, dry and lacked flavor. It tasted like the falafels you would get at a low quality cafeteria.Operation Falafel’s falafels are far superior in taste and price wise, I pay 9 dhs for 8 pieces but here I paid 14 dhs. I will not recommend the baked falafels from here. And they say they are baked but you can see the oil smeared on the sides of the container.
