One of the best experience we had in Dubai – we will definitely come back and not once! Restaurant ambiance is very classy and relaxing, it is good for romantic dinner or calm dinner with friends/family . The service is good. But the most important- the food – is more than delicious, 5++ to the chef and all the kitchen!! The chef will be a future Michelin chef for sure ))

The 20 year old French restaurant is one of the top fine dining experiences you would experience in Dubai. The classic decoration is elegant but a bit old, they also need better music. The food is very rich in flavor, great combinations
Celebrities is a very nice and classy restaurant located in a beautiful One and Only Mirage resort. If you want to have romantic date or a peaceful evening and a quiet conversation, this would be the perfect place. I personally really enjoyed it. The service was excellent , they decorated our table with rose petals, so felt extra special. Loved the food and the wine. The place would be ideal for the older people as I think they would appreciate its classiness and peaceful vibe. It’s a bit dated but has its charm.
What an ambience ! Great dining place. Mostly French based menu and they do a good job at it. Wonderful food, great service. The foie gras was perfectly done. In the fish menu, the grilled turbot fillet was rare to be found in any Dubai restaurant, but was done perfectly.
Took my wife for an early dinner on a Thursday afternoon. We started off with a drink on the terrace at sunset. To be honest, the terrace surrounded by the greenery and overlooking the beach was one of the beat moments I had in dubai. The waiters came and were able to take out orders so that all will be ready when we went inside. We had duck liver and mushroom risotto as starters. The risotto was flavorful, never imagined that mushrooms can generate such a quality dish. Not one ingredient was overtaking the other and the experience was wow. What was also impressive is the fig jam that accompanied the duck. It was dense and spiced and more towards perfection. I am still searching for the source of this ingredient As for the mains, we had the veal and duck breast. The veal was excellent, succulent made to our liking and possessed a mysterious flavors coming forma herbal and mushroom mix. It seems that it was the specialty of the chef. As for the duck, the quality of the meat was disappointing but was compensated for in the rich vegetable mix that accompanied the plate. I know vegetable s are not like duck:) if you are searching for crisp and carnivore flavors, stay away from the duck. One final thing, the waiters are very attentive, very knowledgable of the items on the menu and the wine list was great and exceptionally affordable. In case you were a red wine person, try the Cahors chateaux saint didier de Parnac 2009 France.Enjoy
Good morning Dubai and sunny greetings from The One and Only Royal Mirage, beach bench. The sun is shining, birds are singing and a light morning breeze from the sea, makes the breakfast unique. The location and design of The Celebrities at The One and Only, is as said unique, modern yet classic and well chosen. The breakfast terrace this morning was not busy and therefore we did not have to wait long for our table outside. Miss Angel, asked us to have a look at the buffet meanwhile, and so we did.The choice of fruits, cold cuts, cerlials and bakeries was quite average to be honest, not something we did not see somewhere else before, but the fresh yogurt with blue berry sauce on top was delicious, and the mix of sweetness and sour berries was refreshing. Back at our table, we ordered one Americano, one cappuccino, scrambled eggs with chili and Eggs Benedict. The Americano was served, the eggs arrived but for the next 15 minutes the cappuccino was missing. Looking around, finding the terrace half empty, it was not an issue related to a busy operation or stress, I guess he just forgot or was still sleepy when he took our order, he definitely needed a bit of coffee himself. We followed up and the cappuccino arrived.A coffee or tea order, is actually a minor thing, but how you start your day in the morning is what keeps you up and running later. Therefore if you ask for coffee or tea, and the order falls under the table, you might wonder what else you should order for breakfast. As a rule of thumb, breakfast still is and will always be the most important meal of the day.As said, the cappuccino finally arrived and was served with a smile, by the young, blond gentlemen from France – the rest of the breakfast was just fine. The overall experience was a good one and from time to time we might as well come back for lunch, when the sun is out and keeps us warm. The Bad: the restaurant is located on the side which the sun only hits around lunch time. But the light breeze in the morning kept us awake, instead of the coffee. The Good: service is very humble and everyone who we have met so far is friendly and very polite.Have a wonderful sunny day everyone,SEBTwitter @SofiePickhard servicexcellenceblog.com
