Honestly, I can’t quite begin to write a review.Let’s start with the good points.Good ambience.Decent music.Satisfactory decor. That’s about as much credit as I could possibly give them. The food was pretty much abysmal considering the exorbitant rates. I mean, we paid 70 AED for three tiny pieces of chaat. I could get that in Bur Dubai for a 10th of the price.Even the biryani was disappointing. It’s just sad to see that many foreigners think this an accurate representation of Indian food.
Came here for dinner one fine night. Was actually quite disappointed overall. I’m giving them a 3 rating purely for their ambience and their average biriyani. Tried their tandoori selection which were two pieces of salmon, prawns, chicken and lamb chops. None of them had the oomph factor sadly. For the mains we tried the chicken biriyani, the madras butter chicken and roti alongside which was purely a staff recommendation. The only thing we requested was to make the dishes spicy. Unfortunately, they were served sweeter than normal i’d say. Such a shame. I had such high hopes of this place and it was a total letdown. Wouldn’t really recommend the place to anyone to be honest.
We ate dinner one evening and with five of us were able to do family style. We shared a variety of dishes and were impressed by the complexity of the flavors as well as the way it was presented. Service was excellent and a full bar was available, although we stuck to Kingfisher.
Fantastic food..ask for medium spicy and spicy if you do not intend to spend on dessert..which too btw was delicious..must go..this place is better than any other Indian food I have had in this city.We ordered Kerala prawn curry and Chicken tikka masala for main course. It was outstanding!! Also the Tandoori breads was so nice.
have visited this restaurant 20+ times and the food is consistently delicious. The best Indian in Dubai. The menu choice is excellent, and the chef kindly offers to make our favourite vegetable coconut curry which is no longer on the menu. However, they should bring it back as the flavours are just divine! One criticism, the service and overall experience hasn’t been as good since the new manager took over about a year ago – the service feels much less personal.Overall, a great dinner spot located in a beautiful hotel.
This is one of from our 9th visit to ‘Nina’. Let me tell that this time we experienced the ever best food in Nina. We ordered the experience ‘table de hote’ menu. From starter to dessert, every dish was awesome, well presented n taste balanced. The main course curries was outstanding. Thank you again
My favourite Indian in UAE. Duck & Quinoa salad was mind boggling. Hats off to chef for creating such a masterpiece. Loved soft shell crab with harissa as well. Mains were on the spot flavour wise. Tandoori Sea bass and Kerala prawn curry were lovely. Service was impressive though the restaurant was busy. Well done!!!
