I used to visit this place at least twice a month. For me this place is once of the best where you can find finest cocktails and sheesha. This is the combination which used to have when I visit. I have also tried their sushi which is palatable. Their sheesha is a must try, you should ask the sheesha guys for their best sellers if you wanna enjoy sheesha in ambience of beach and music.
The restaurant had a nice spot with a view on the JBR skyline. Other than that everything is disappointing. Starting from the food which was below acceptable. I have tried the Seabass and probably one of the rarest times that I don’t finish a seabass plate – it was awkward taste-. We have asked for quinoa salad but it was forgotten. Shisha is way below acceptable. Staff is polite. This is a very prime location and should have a total different experience. Long way to improve. Good luck.

We attended Praia restaurant on a thursday for the ladies day pool and beach access and brunch for 150aed each. The brunch was to include a 2 course meal and unlimited drinks. We arrived at the pool area and our initial interaction with the staff was unpleasant. The whole setup was a disaster and very unorganised. We had bags and ID’s checked right at the counter by the door then was told to proceed to the restaurant counter to get our brunch passes. We were made to queue up for 20 minutes and then when we reached the front of the line the staff told us that the capacity for the brunch had already reached 200 and that we can no longer proceed with this. However they assured us that we can just pay 100aed each and enjoy the pool as well as receive unlimited drinks so we went ahead and done this. It was indeed not a good decision and we should have just left. So after paying and going into the restaurant itself, we came to find out that they were not serving non alcoholic drinks for the ‘brunch’ and we would have to pay extra for this. It was just an awful experience and we wouldn’t be going back. Please inform people next time on your social medias that there is this ‘200 capacity’ because it would have saved us alot of time, effort and money!
We came to Praia because of suggestions of my friends. I tried King crab lasagna and it was fabulous dish. Stuff is extremely polite and helpful. This restaurant full of flowers and it gives me an impression like it small oasis in desert. I will come back for sure.Highly recommend 10/10
Staff is helpful and service is quick.This is an expensive place which is an obvious.I ordered the following:1) Meringue Roulade: Tastes delicious but not a fan of the meringue (4/5)2) Fries: (2/5) nothing fancy all the more just really tiny3) Watermelon drink: Not that cold enough or fancy (2/5) Ambience is nice with the lights, seating could be a bit more comfortable.
