Best go to Al Dhiyafa Grand Kitchen with a real appetite because there’s so many tempting starters, a wide range of vegetarian and fish including salmon and other delicious bites, there’s salads, pizzas, breads and hot dishes such as beef casserole, roast chicken and much more to choose from! As if that’s not enough there’s also an arabic food section, the most delicious ice-creams and a vast array of arabic sweets, chocolate gateaux and other bite sized, mouth watering cakes with toffee, caramel, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, strawberry plus a wide choice of fresh juices and other soft drinks. The ambience is calm and refreshing, waiter service is excellent and the views are also fabulous. I’m planning to go back without hesitation and can highly recommend this great restaurant!
While staying at the Habtoor Grand, we only dined in the Al Dhiyafa all-day-dining restuarant. A space of light wood and dark leather couches that felt very modern. Despite predominantly offering a buffet, we ordered a la carte and sampled the fresh pizza of the day, wood fired before our very eyes and containing juicy slices of grilled chicken. The Angus flamed beef burger was also good with its caramelised onions and generous offerings of mozzarella cheese.Breakfast meanwhile, can be taken in either Al Dhifaya or in the comfort of the room (for no extra cost), so we’re sure you can guess what we opted for? Who doesn’t love breakfast in bed? Especially when pancakes and French Toast are involved! The fact that the Habtoor Grand allows you to transfer your breakfast experience to the room, shows that they are putting guests first in allowing them to customise their stay to make the experience unique.Al Dhiyafa is one of sixteen food and beverage outlets found within the hotel, where you can also sample the South African cuisine at The Grand Grill, Italian staples for Luciano’s, or Cuban delights at Salamar. Randomly choose this place for dinner and did not disappoint! Nice and relaxed atmosphere where you can dine at your own pace.There is a good selection of dishes, Arabic/ Indian oriented. Love the bread choices and large amount of salads that are different than in other buffer restaurants; all is fresh and chefs preparing main dishes as per your taste.Service is there from time to time, good visible but not always focusing on all guests.However, it was a lovely dine-out and will come back to this place.
Went there in Ramadan for Iftar, the place looks really nice, and i loved the atmosphere. The food variety wasn’t much ( i believe this is Ramadan related though ) but it tasted good despite not having much options to choose fromDeserts however were excellent, lots of variety and an excellent Om Ali and ice creams too.I am definitely going again after Ramadan ends
Don’t waste your time and money coming to this place. Very unprofessional and untrained staff. Can be that you have to get up and call them for each and everything. Talking about its food the quality as such is good but the presentation and the variety is not at all impressive.
Best Seafood buffet ever ! Had a blast with the girls ! Money well spent I must say.Service was really good too. Will be coming back for sure 😉
I have been to this nice place last Thursday and I loved the experience there . Salads are fresh and neatly presented , appetizers were limited but delicious . Main dishes varieties were good , they’re masters in Italian plates specially pastas and pizzas , they had some nice Indian plates but I didn’t try them . Desserts were nice & Um Ali dish was awesome ! They had ice cream varieties , tasted some samples but didn’t attract me much . My overall experience was really positive and I would love to go there again
