We had a wonderful dinner with friends last night with amazing service of Jun. It’s a great value for money and the restaurant ambience is good for gathering with friends and family.
We must have visited on the worst day possible (Asian night on Tuesday) but it is still not acceptable for 165aed to be disappointed to this level. Let alone we have eaten in much cheaper buffets where we had no complain. Went with a group of friends and upgraded our package of 65aed extra for beverages just to be told that there is not a single fresh juice! This is first time ever it happened to us. The sushi selection is the poorest I have ever seen with no ginger! Again it’s a first time and we do not eat at 5starts hotels only even the cheapest sushi place offers some. No sweet and sour or plum sauce to go with the frozen spring rolls. The duck was not cooked well. We thought in a French outlet we will be satisfied with the deserts but absolutely no French desert and none of the desert was tasty. Very poor selection of cheese again very disappointed for a French place. Only watermelon and pineapple as fruits. And last but not least the decor is totally old fashioned and depressing. We have never paid so much and left so hungry and disappointed. Not worth 50aed.

A delicious Iftar Dinner Buffet with a perfect view and an amazing live music. Multiple cuisines and plenty of sweets to try and it all comes with a reasonable price. Courteous staff as well. danishtechie.com
I went to @sofiteldubaibeach for an Iftar Review and I can’t tell you how cozy and homey the place feels like with an open terrace and an unbelievable view! They had different types of food and salads so you have plenty of choices! My favourite thing was the dessert selection with yummy Arabic and western dishes and great creativity of Eclairs and Cookies! Starting at 160 DHS for Iftar and 75 DHS for suhoor. How amazing. You should try it the second Ramadan starts !
This restaurant is stunning at the best of times, but set up for Ramadan it is really something special! We went last week for the iftar preview and have already recommended everyone we know to go next week once Ramadan starts. The food is amazing- all the Ramadan staples plus way more. The baba ganoush is the best we’ve ever tasted! 100% recommend, it’s great value with fantastic service and even better food!
