Restaurant is located in the beach mall . Such a lovely interior . Food was too good and delicious. Especially dum aloo was just super . Portion is enough for two & kids friendly too . But less options for vegetarian . Overall I was happy with the place and food .

Situated strategically near the beach is this Indian restauramt called Bombay Bungalow. I think the rates here are a little to the higher side but the food is decent as well. Not too pleased as i dint find the VFM factor.

The interiors here are perfection and the food is marvelous! I’d go back in a heartbeat especially for the Diwali special menu (AED 200 for 2 people for vegetarian and AED 250 for 2 people for non vegetarian), the spread is huge and you’ll really have no space at the end of the meal! It was totally worth it and there was nothing I didn’t like honestly!Favs: Burrata Butter Chicken, Cashew Crusted Kofta Curry, Chaat Trio, Pav Bhaji Fondue (the best I’ve had in Dubai frankly), Watermelon mocktail (so refreshing), homestyle dal and aloo bhaaji, kebab platter, Biryani, Bournvita Chocolate Dessert (has 2 of these, it’s really soo delicious!)

When we think of JBR as a tourist or as a resident we know that it would be heavy on our pocket. Well, there are few places like Bombay Bungalow who have proved this wrong. So JBR Parking is the scariest two words we think of. But when you dine at Bombay Bungalow you get three hours of free parking. So you can enjoy the beach and hit to fill your tummy here. From interiors to the food the place has matched the word ‘ authentic’. What I like is the photography of the dishes you eat, it is the same way so you know what you going to order and later dont find out it is’not what you ordered’. The portion size is heavy enough too. The ambiance is so beautiful and the colors used across the restaurant are also very Instagrammy. They also have a kids menu and kids’ activity. An average the cost for two would be around AED 120 mostly ( if you guys are heavy eaters only) since the prices would not make you sell your kidney. It has a modern style of Indian cuisine which they variation.I was invited by my darling family @glittersinmypalette, @amit and cupcake for a family brunch and I had a great time here. With the festival of lights being round the corner, there’s no better way than to celebrate it with in such a fancy place that gives you a feel of an ancient Indian bungalow. Their Diwali set menu is the icing on the cake. The festive menu is on only for 10 days and is very decently priced.I was here for their Diwali menu preview and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The menu has food that is beyond simple Indian flavours with rare combinations and modern fusions – and yes, it does include their signature Burrata Butter Chicken . It is a proper 4 course meal with starters, mains, biryani and dessert. The menu also includes a mocktail or soft drink. This menu is perfectly curated for one to enjoy the authentic Indian dishes as well as some modern creations. We started the meal with a Maharaja Mocktail, this one has a watermelon base and is extremely refreshing. From the starters we were served two platters, one had Trio of chaat and the other had assorted Kebabs. The Trio of Chaat is an absolute feast for chaat lovers and the chaats served here were not the regular ones. One was a Corn with sprouts, the second a Watermelon feta and the last was a Papdi chaat. All of them were extremely flavorful, fresh and unique in their own way. The assorted kebab platter had Malai Prawns, Shaami Kebab, Hariyali fish and Chicken Tikka. All of them were fresh, well marinated and cooked to perfection. It is hard to find a flaw when you are dining at Bombay Bungalow. The spread is so elaborate and festive that despite feeling full already post the starters one cant stop feasting on the mains. I am glad the mains come in small portions just enough for two and it helps avoid wastage while you also get to try a lot more. When at Bombay Bungalow one cannot miss the Burrata butter chicken, it is a signature dish here and it is surely my all time favorite. We were also served the Pav Bhaji foundue with pieces of toasted bread and baby potatoes, one bite into it and I couldn’t stop eating. The Fish Sukka, Tilwali Aloo and Tadka daal served with Jeera rice and roti is absolute comfort food. A festive meal is incomplete without a biryani and the prawn biryani served here is a perfect end to the absolute treat !We ended the meal with the Bournvita Chocolate hot cake that is pure nostalgia. If you grew up drinking Bournvita in milk you know what Im talking about.

Excellent Indian fine dining restaurant in Dubai I have to say. Good ambience, courteous staff and excellent food. The order was as mentioned above. The highlight was the pani puri. Just too good. Only the Kerala fish curry was below par for me.
