The idea of having dinner in the sky sounds amazing! I didn’t doubt to take this opportunity to celebrate something special..It was all about the experience of being in the air with a great view and having dinner; everyone on the table taking selfies and enjoying the lovely weather we had and listening to music.The reason of rating this experience so low is because of the food. It is advertised as a ‘fine dining’ dinner experience in the sky. Quite frankly, it’s everything but not fine dining. we were served lacnor juice, bread and butter, water and 3 courses; an average salad, a cold piece of beef on top of mashed potato and a below average cheesecake.The servers were very friendly though, and happy to take photos for us.. nothing against them. It was just the food, management can do much more with the amount of money we pay.In addition, on that night, I felt sick with an upset stomach. The next morning my wife woke up sick too with the feeling of throwing up.
@carochiclifeI’ll start by saying that in my humble opinion, if you are in Dubai or live here the whole experience is worth a shot, I decided to go for the teabreak which runs from 5 to 6:30 pm and I was greatly satisfied.Besides wasting around 10 minutes preparing the table after the previous lift everything else was fairly good. Staff are corteous and always had a smile on their faces, always willing to help guests take those desired photos.As you can imagine, the views from up there of Marina, JBR and the sea are spectacular, worth every penny. The food itself was ok, it included scones, pastries, desserts, coffee, tea, orange and apple juice and water.Nice, enjoyable and different option in Dubai.
