Dha43 for cigarettes!!!! THATS INSANE. DHS21 at the corner shop, more than 100% profit. This should be illegal. Its def immoral. With regards to the Brunch, AVERAGE. One of the biggest problems of Dubai is Average Venues serving Average Brunches at premium prices. DHS445 for Drinks package, i had 4 gls of wine in the 3hrs of brunch, not for a lack of trying. The food was ok. Everything served family style, on a table of 20 we had to fight for 3 starter plates of 4 portions of each dish. To give them credit, they did bring out out more upon request. The fish main course was good, but no veggies. The Steak was super fatty, which wasnt I attend brunches regularly, this one wont leave an impression for a return visit. Now I know that everyone doesnt have the same taste and im sure other people enjoy it, but in my opinion:1 – Overpriced2 – Under Serviced3 – There are alot of better Brunch experiences in town for better price.4 – Buy smokes before, this place will rob you blind. The turkish deligh Ice Cream was awesome and the only highlight of my visit.

I have absolutely no clue how they got a restaurant of the year award by one of Dubai’s most popular review magazines. Yet, somehow they did and that suckered me to try out Ruya’s brunch one weekend. Now, the restaurant itself is cozy with great views of Dubai Marina. Service is friendly and attentive. So it’s surprising that the Turkish cuisine failed to deliver. Not all of the dishes appears to have been freshly made that day, e.g. the eggplant appetizer was rather stale. And with the exception of the beef, all main courses were rather bland. Only the alcohol was good, but then again, you could have that anywhere during a brunch.Interestingly enough, I also tried the restaurant for a regular dinner one evening. The dishes I ordered then were brilliant. Unfortunately, the brunch selection just sucked. So in short, don’t go to Ruya for brunch. Overpriced, bland and underwhelming. Go for dinner or check out other Turkish restaurants instead.

My husband and I celebrated our first anniversary here. I mentioned to the lady on the phone that we would like a nice spot as it’s our anniversary. The team made it ultra special for us. We had a little treat on the house with happy anniversary written on the plate and we were thrilled as this wasn’t expected. The food is brilliant, the ambience is romantic and the staff are super friendly. I’d highly recommend this place to everybody.

Good experience overall with decor, food, ambience. All hit the expectations. Not a fan of Turkish food, so might not be going back often. But overall a to-do for everyone. Well done to the staff as well.

We greatly enjoyed the food, staff and atmosphere! We tried several new dishes and enjoyed them all. I highly recommend the Borek and Karpuz Peynir as starters and the Hazelnut Baklava for dessert. All of the dishes were fresh and beautifully plated. We will definitely return the next time we are in Dubai.

Went for the Iftar set menu. Loved the food – the meat dishes served are soft and tasty. Their sweets are to die for and go for the the pomegranate juice. They have a separate entrance back of the Grosvenor House and valet parking.
