This is no ordinary buffet. Firstly, the service is exceptional, you can order a number of the items from your table, or they bring your freshly cooked item to the table for you, to save you waiting as the cooking station. Wide selection – I particularly liked the freshly cooked to order spicy king prawns, the lamb chops, and the ribeye steaks. Great views of the marina, well appointed restaurant. Would definitely go back – in fact will be looking forward to it!!!
We came to Sloane’s twice for breakfast during our stay in Dubai in April 2019. Our hotel did not have a restaurant and we were looking for a good place to dine. Sloane’s was a perfect fit for us. You would normally talk about the food when reviewing a restaurant but in Sloane’s case it’s the staff and service I want to mention first, it is exceptional. They really made my family and I feel special. Everyone had a smile on their face and would greet you politely. They would smile and play with my 2 year old daughter. The food options were plentiful and everything we had tasted good.It was so good that all my family miss it. We plan to stay at the hotel next time we stay in Dubai.
I am a big fan of the food at Grosvenor House and Sloane’s is one of my favorites for a hearty meal with family. I tried their Iftar last weekend and was happy and satisfied with what i ate. I was blown away by the variety of Salads, Appetizers, Meats, Mains & Desserts . I started with some salads and sushi. I love the freshly made sushi along with some Sriracha sauce mixed with spicy mayo. Although it’s a very odd combination but it pairs extremely well. After that I went for some meats which were freshly grilled on order. I generally order some steaks and lamb chops but this time I also ordered lamb kebab and some prawns. The steak was Prepared medium and tasted really juicy. The lamb chops were prepared medium well and I love the flavour of fresh herbs on it. The lamb kebab was also prepared medium well and it tasted amazing with mint chutney. The prawns were juicy And tasted extremely well with sweet chilli sauce.After enough protein intake I tried the pakoras along with some hot Mezze like falafel, kibbeh & samosas. I also tried some chicken kebabs from the Indian section. They had some very interesting dishes for their main courses like thai red duck curry, Chicken roulade, chicken and lobia casserole, Slow cooked lamb leg with prune sauce etc. I like the fact that they had some different dishes which I haven’t tasted anywhere else and they all tasted good. After finishing my mains I went to check out the desert section which was very lavish to. This was probably the only place where I could find something suitable for me because of my dietary restrictions. Do you had various options from Middle Eastern deserts to western deserts as well as Indian deserts. They also had a separate live counters for Knafe and snow cones. I enjoyed most of what I eat And my favourites were the date pudding , rasgulla, knafe & snow cone. The service has always been on point And that for me is a deal breaker. I always recommend this place to everyone whether it’s for Iftar or their Friday brunch. The Thursday seafood night is a must try, with sushi counter, oysters, cold seafood selection, caviar, live grill stations and much more. Ambiance is vibrant, and service is excellent
Divine breakfast buffet spread. I wish I could put everything onto my plate. So many varieties! Seated outdoors, we ate with a scenic view of the Marina Bay. Good service, amazing food and a great location. Must visit if you’re in dubai.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the staff at Sloanes but especially Sheldon, the Food & Beverage Manager, who went above and beyond the call of duty.Due to an underlying health condition, I am on a very restrictive diet with no dairy or gluten. This was made more complicated by the fact I am a vegetarian too. Sheldon and his colleage, Muhammed organised dairy and gluten free options for me every meal time as well as arranging for the chef to create additional dishes and salads for me.Nothing was to much trouble and I cannot thank them enough.
Best buffet breakfast I have ever had . The chefs and staff are all so friendly and helpful. We stayed at the Grosvenor House and despite having the dine around option for dinner we chose to eat their most nights as again the food was just so good . They had such a good set up and it worked so well
