+ Overall the food was very tasty – super tender chargrilled octopus, great kid’s pizza, melt in the mouth short rib+ Friendly service+ Fantastic outdoor area next to the swimming pool- Very dark inside and the font on the menu is so small, everyone needs to pull out their smartphones and turn on their flashlight to see what they want to eat- Although service was friendly, the main came before the starter, which meant we had to wait for the oysters and the main course got cold
Overpriced and some issues with temperature of food and timing. Asked if we wanted to add tip when 10% SC is marked on bill. Questioned waiter on 10% SC being shared, they said not.
Sometimes what starts as a bad dining experience can be saved by a little extra effort of 1 employee.My ladies night experience started off on a sour note, but was saved by the fabulous Anton! He addressed my concern, but more importantly made me feel like a valuable customer to their restaurant.The Maine continues to experience teething pains with their staff and service, but thank goodness they have ppl like Anton in charge of making things right. (The stars are all for him!)
Had been here for Office team lunch. No regrets for choosing this place. Ambience was really very beautiful. Starters were great especially Fried Calamari and Crispy fish Tacos. Mushroom and Truffle pizza was amazing. Main course were up to the mark and the overall service was great .Would definitely recommend this place to others and would visit this place once again soon .
Lunch at the Maine Street Eatery was a delightful experience, the inviting entrance with olive trees, the tiles and the lighting, the breezy white curtains, the friendly staff – all perfectly in place. The bar right in the middle with a grand chandelier over it, is a grand scene. The food is wonderful and presented beautifully. The Pizza Verde was heavenly. You want Vegetarian food beyond salads they have it. It’s perfect for people living/working in Studio City, Motor City and the Arabian Ranches. We whole heartedly recommend this.
We had a really pleasant time at the Maine. We had low expectations given the location and the fact that we love the JBR branch. The vibe is cool, it was packed, nice music, friendly staff – everything was up to par to the JBR branch. The food was also of the same great quality and taste, with many items available from the JBR menu such as the tuna tartare, chargrilled octopus, truffle pizza, and fish tacos. We will definitely go back again very soon!
