  Sobo went here for Iftar which has a set menu of soup, arabic appetizer like hummus, tabouleh etc. The Mains were mixed grill, cous cous rice ,bamia and umm ali for desert.

  Good family iftar place. All the set menus items on table to have enough and gets refills as needed. Relaxed and friendly environment. Near to pool and fountain. Staff are very friendly

  Came for Iftar and this restaurant offers Iftar Set Menu at a very affordable price the fact that it’s in one of the prestigious hotel (Courtyard Marriot).You’ll get Salads, soup, hot and cold mezza, mains and desserts.You have the option for shisha at an additional cost of only AED 45. The place is relaxing and you have the option to sit near the pool, best place to chill during winter also.A bit far from the City but food and place along with the accomodating staff i can say it’s worth my travel.Free Parking at the property.

  Sobo – a beautiful restaurant with arabic/Lebanese cuisine located in Courtyard Marriot DIP, They have a special Iftar with 5 course set menu with great selection and served right on your table. The place had our attention as soon as we entered, The Interiors are just amazing. Place was bright and lively and perfect for family gatherings. The outside seating area is by the pool side which looked beautiful. Seating area is spacious and well lit with some unique dinig furniture. Service is excellent and all the staff were friendly and served the food without any noticeable delay. The Menu is a special selection with universal options.Cold Mezzah- Hummus, fatoosh Salad, Baba Ghanoush, MutabbalHot Mezzah – Spinach Fatayer, grilled kibbeh and meat sambousek, Cheese RakakatSoup: Lentil Soup with lemonMain Course – Beef Kebab, lamb kofta, shish Tawook, shrimp, Fried Fish , vegetable couscous corn on the cob and rice.Dessert- Fresh fruits, Umm Ali and date ice cream.Drinks – Lemon Mint and Tamar HindiWhat we liked : Hummus was great, tasty and creamy, Dressing for fatoush salad was yummy. Baba Ghanoush was okay, Spinach Fatayer was good, Cheese rakakat was superb. Hot mezza was served hot and tasted perfect.In mains – beef kabab was delicious, shish tawook was tasty and I really liked the vegetable couscous it had the perfect amount of spice level, in dessert we really enjoyed Umm Ali it was really good it was mild sweet. In the Drinks Tamar Hindi was an absolute delight, it was refreshing and had a distinctive taste. They have a set menu (5 course meal) it is really enough to make you full. Cold mezza and hot mezza is really tasty. The main course is so damn good amazing! The shrimp is fresh and the chicken and meat is tasty. For the dessert, the best umm Ali I’ve tasted by far.

In Ramadan this changes as the essence of iftar is breaking your fast together as a family, we try at most to have iftar together. Our decision to visit Sobo for family iftar on the first Ramadan turned out really great and we were extremely happy with the overall expereince.For us the most important element in our food reviews is cost benefit analysis as we always compare the quality, quantity and the taste of the food against the price charged and beleive me this was something beyound our expectations with so much quantity, quality

  Lovely staff there great breakfast brunch and also the bbq is always great in a good price with a good view 2 floors outdoor and indoors with water n pool view
