The foods are delicious, we ordered dumpling, stir fried beef, fried shrimp as per their recommendation, because they don’t have English menu or picture. Staffs are very helpful even it was a struggle for us to order. But no doubt we would comeback for the food
We have ordered Guo Bao Rou (Chinese style fried chicken with sweet and sour sauce) and Leng Mian for dinner. They do not have English menu unfortunately :(Only Mandarin MenuGuo Bao Rou was cooked with coriander. (somebody who do not like coriander need an assistance before order)Leng Mian is Chinese style cold noodle as attached picture. (coriander is included)Although Leng Mian wasn’t the taste that I was expecting, (huge vinegar flavor on soup) I enjoyed the served food in overall 🙂
This is a Dong Bei Food Restaurant – Northern China true home-cooking. The menu’s in Chinese only at the moment, so bring a friend who can Read & Speak or get pictures to point. :-)Excellent Choices are-Spicy Fish: White Fish with bean sprouts in spicy sauce of chilies and Chinese wild pepper balls (don’t bite the little balls unless you want a fun mouth numbing experience. However they give a nice flavor to the fish). -Di San Tien: Potato Eggplant Green Bell pepper dish, a true crowd pleaser-Cucumber Salad: crushed cucumbers with vinegar and dried chili flakes-Tudou Se: A kind of warm, julienned potato-salad dish, with an oil and chilli, or oil and honey, or oil and vinegar dressing depending on the cook/region-Kung Pao Chicken: Diced chicken, peanuts, carrots and cucumber in a sweet sauce (Dong Bei Style)-The bread is amaze-balls and it’s supper yummy to dip in the cucumber salad dressing or other sauces (see pictures)-Ba Se Digua as dessert: Sweet Potato or Regular Potato cubes covered in melted sugar
