I ordered two sandwiches; koobideh and joojeh. Both sandwiches were disappointing because they both had more lettuce than meat! I couldn’t taste the koobideh between all the lettuce they stuff the sandwich with so I had to empty most of them out! They also use a strange mayonnaise like sauce in the sandwiches which I really didn’t like because it masked the taste of the lamb. In fact, I had to remove almost everything and have a bite of just the lamb to see if I liked it or not. The lamb is too fatty and flavorless and I’ve definitely had way better! The joojeh sandwich had the same problem with way to much lettuce and sauce.. the actual chicken pieces were decently sized however the quality of chicken used is not the best. For AED 47 I would have expected a lot better!
A nice place to have a good authentic Irani food. I had ordered for a kabab koobeideh roll in a nice tandoori irani bread which was too filling and also value for money. Overall a nice dining experience.
Its was our choice for iftar after a long walking day in dragon mart. Price is acceptable and taste is one of the nicest among the Iranian food court shops, rice very well cooked with a nice gravy and meat is delicious nice smell and one free drink. Not bad at all
At international city, dragomart food court is was either filled with Chinese or kebab outlets. Since we all the outlets looked alike we decided to go for the Iranian Kebabak a standalone outlet in UAE.My dish was a chicken koobideh + koobideh kebab @ AED 35 came with chicken mince kebab and lamb mince kebab, with steam cooked rice and a tomato gravy. The gravy complimented well for the unflavored rice, which I would not expect from an Iranian joint. The kebabs were cooked perfect and tasted great. But nothing was a standout when you compare to multiple kebab outlets in the line up vying for your attention.I guess it was a one time visit for me and nothing exceptional that can pull me back for more. Staff are well mannered and presentable.
My expectations was high when i went here, but i was not fully satisfied. I ordered a mixed kabab plate of chicken and mutton with s biriyani rice. The chicken kaban was ok but mutton kabab was not that good. And the rice along witj it was very dry. I orderd a pomegranate juice along with it. I found their raita tasty. Anyway if you are a iranian food fan only, you can give a try. All the best ?
Needlessly expensive. Staff are not professional at all. Won’t come again. Food was alright though. But there are much similar places with better service and price.
