Had the lunch buffet at Mistral during my recent visit to the Middle East. It has an arabic theme & an array of dishes suiting different cuisines. The service was very efficient & the location is excellent as you have the IBN Batuta shopping mall nearby. Valet services were good too
It’s my first time in movenpick Dubai. I’ve been there for a whole week, talking about the service, people are respectful, polite, and friendly. Over here there are variety’s of food, and I love that since lots of nationalities are coming to visit the place. I really love the place and I would love to come back again.
Every morning and night changed foods, very healthy and lots of choices from everything. Fresh fruits, online omelets and stakes, very polite stuff, very clean place. I have never tasted so good foods. Unbelievable dessert table.
Very nice all day dining. Breakfast here is wonderful they have everything from cooked Indian breakfast dishes to cold cuts, eggs done many ways, fruits pastries etc. The surf and turf night is a favourite of mine wonderful cuts of meat with fresh fish and all kinds of sides. Great service too, friendly pleasant staff that are happy to help.
This was a delayed review as I should have done this few months ago. We went here to celebrate me and my boyfriend’s first year anniversary with friends and family, we are group of 8. The restaurant was so quiet, only few were dining in. I guess maybe because it was weeknight. I am always excited with buffet and looking forward to try Mistral as the reviews were all great. I don’t know if only on that particular night, very few selections were on display. I don’t remember most of the food but the ones I tasted were all salty. Good thing they have excellent desserts.I thought we will all go home frustrated but then 3 staff came to our table with a cake and flowers at hand. My boyfriend proposed on that night and the restaurant deserves 3 star for their friendly and most cooperative staff. That was really a sweet surprise for me.
Once i ate here and had good experience, had buffet dinner with my love. We had started with glass of champagne the followed by whiskey and wine.
I have been twice. I had business lunch there and spend valentine’s night recently. Ambiance: 4Food: 3Service: 2Value of money: 2They don’t serve varieties of salads (tabboule, fatoush, pasta salad, Greek salad etc do not exist). Sushi is below average as taste. Kebab and grill is below average as well. There are varieties in seafood however although it’s live cooking, they are not delicious and tasty. The best of all was ice cream in sweets. Service is too bad. We asked the waiters twice to bring us soft drinks and it took almost 45min to bring it. Even they were not coming and turning around tables to remove finished plates. Lunch costs 160 AED, and the seafood + barbecue night costs 235 AED. It’s not worthy for such taste.
