I wandered in with my family on a Friday afternoon, and was immediately greeted by the friendly attentive staff and the incredible aroma of Srilankan delicacies. The restaurant was filling up quickly but we managed to get a table.We ordered the Thushani’s Lamprais, Hot Butter Cuttlefish and the Sri Lankan Biryani.The Cuttlefish were crispy, flavorful, and chewy. The Lamprais and Biryani were packed with a generous quantity and with consistent flavor that represented a fine dining experience.We concluded with some Sri Lankan sweets. By the end of the meal we were planning our next visit.Well done Management Team @ Thushani’s Discovery for elevating our dinning WoW experience
There is always a learning curve and the ultimate perfection. With Thushanis I have seen both of these in positive manner , over the past few years. The very recent experience with them for the dinner dining requirements for my daughters birthday celebration has been arranged and handled by their experienced staff with flying colours. Professionalism was exercised well from taking the order until the end where they collected the serving equipments. Good job and thank you Thushanis from deepest place from my heart and keep the good vibes up. You have a bright success road ahead.
Placed an order, and was accepted by Thushani, but never delivered. After 1hour when I called they said they did not know the order, and blamed Zomato, but we heard him read our with his colleague. No courtesy to apologise. 0% customer service. Will never recommend this place
When I think of any country, I go down the culinary route and think of its cuisine. For UK, fish and chips, India, butter chicken, Pakistan, kebabs, Thailand, green curry and so on. However, in terms of Sri Lanka, I was blank. I had no reference point. But the folks at Thushanis took me on a trip to Sri Lanka so I could be made familiar with the cuisine. Soothe each tantalisingly spicy spoon of the sambol with a bite of their freshly baked bread. I found myself piling my plate with veggies like pumpkin and jackfruit (curry) that I otherwise wouldn’t. I ended my meal with a simple sweet dish – yoghurt+honey. Who would’ve thought something so simple could be so refreshing. I tried the Saturday brunch and can’t wait to try some Sri Lankan delights from their Friday special menu.

Finally got to try this hidden gem at Discovery Gardens..my love for Srilankan cuisine..we ordered their Nasi Goreng and the deviled crab and their portions are too good..loved it..will try out more of their menu next Beniz Fernandes
