Best authentic Egyptian sweets in Dubai not only original taste but innovative types as well. Huge selection with very polite and professional staff. Every time you’ll find new selection with amazing taste and elegant packing. Very recommended to sweets lover.

I discovered BASBOUSSA from the lovely smell around the mall.. they have amazing items! It was my first time to try BASBOUSSA and Egyptain sweets at this store OMG it is yummy taste. They also have a twist of Nutella, Lotus and all. Fully recommended you must try
Never had Egyptian sweets before, pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff, happy to let you try different sweets. Went for Esh El Bolbol Almonds.
I came across Basboussa Instagram page and ordered via message as Zomato delivery was not available for some reason. I ordered plain basboussa, harissa, balahelsham and rice pudding. During ordering they were very supportive to offer options as some desserts were already finished. Delivery reached an hour late than committed but it was OK as owner had already called and informed me that their delivery schedule was very busy. Desserts were very neatly packed and delivery staff was very polite and friendly. He even took care of my note not to ring the bell as my son was sleeping. It was worth waiting; desserts were fresh and delicious. Unfortunately they forgot to send rice puddings and refunded for that. What I did not like was being charged an extra 20 drh for a late delivery while my order was already sizable summing over 100 drh. Still can be understood if mine was the only delivery and if it was on time for me but apparently every customer was charged 15-20 dirhams which makes delivery a revenue stream more than a tool to cover delivery costs. I hope management takes care of this in a reasonable manner. Overall I’m happy to have found a place with nice desserts.
