Tried their lunch buffet. Nice ambience, beach access, pool access and service. But i personally did not liked their main course buffet. However, desserts were extremely good!!
I have to agree with a lot of the disappointed ppl.. though the space is not bad in and out yet the service is disappointing and the food is barely passing .. not my place to go to.
After hearing good reviews decided to come to this restaurant for breakfast..they have buffet with variety of food but unfortunately didn’t like it much ..tea was tasteless , food was cold , croissant wasn’t yummy didn’t taste good,, waffle was ok , pancake wasn’t fresh it was heavy, labna was a bit bitter, egg was ok ..Wouldn’t go back again .
Just next to the beach in Jumeriah. I remember this fine dining restaurant majorly because of its location and food. My fiancée and I had ordered some nice Indian ala Carte instead of the noon brunch and weren’t disappointed at all. You have a couple of places around to see and dine as well but this one specifically brings people majorly coz of its food. We got our food bit late and the drinks that were served were authentic as well( not to mention many places across the globe you may not find the authentic ones) as for me that’s what makes the reputation of a place. People who were there were majorly European as I guess you can place your order as per your specification. Staff was friendly and nice. Lot of things from the menu to be mentioned but won’t do that again coz I really go for own experience than some one else’s. Good luck team Taverna
nice buffet restaurant serving international food. Ambiance and location is great. Service is just fantastic. Midhun was really helpful and always ready to go extra mile to exceed our expectations.
Taverna is the only restaurant at the Marine Beach resort and club that’s open 24 hours( all others are mostly open for dinner at 7pm). Since we came early, we had no other option, but to go there. The restaurant has a large seating area inside and a small patio outside which has the sea view. The service was simply terrible. They only had one waitress for the whole restaurant. When they brought the food, it was cold. We had to send it back; first they just reheated it in the microwave , which was bad because if you reheat the steak it’s no longer medium rare( how my husband ordered), after our complains, they had to make the new one again. The shrimp curry was very blah, the lentil soup was tasteless. We were very disappointed and would not go back there.
one place that i love for breakfast, brunch or lunch.very nice ambiance from the moment you enter dubai marine, till inside the restaurant.their food selection is very big, all different types of hot and cold appetizers, all fresh and delicious.main course part was not very big in compare to other parts , but everything there was delicious, didnt like sushi counter much, felt it was a bit dry, but pasta section compensated for all. and after food dessert part is what can satisfied any tastebuds. its has a quiet big selection and mostly prepared in small portions for one person.the stuff are very attentive , and the price is very reasonable .
