An amazing place a lot of Restaurants clubs , inside Taverna you need to try their Spanish Food , and their cake , and also the espresso cheese cake, after that you can head to the beach and enjoy the afternoon
I went to Taverna restaurant yesterday with friend and was already visually disappointed. The setting of the tables was very poor just like the food selection, the tabouleh was very bad too; I decided to try their pasta at the live station so after waiting for few minutes someone came to prepare it for me. He first asked me what type of pasta I wanted and then started the preparation which was as follow: took one of the used fried pan that was put on the handwash sink, rinsed it with water then swiped it with a tissue so when I asked him why he was cleaning it he told me that I couldn’t expect them to wash every pan after using them. Then he took another one and did the same to sort of make me happy then started the preparation, he literally took with his naked and unwashed hands (same hands he used to swipe the sweat under his nose when he arrived at the live station) the tomatoes, chopped the parsley with his nails and spread the salt the same way on the food. I shared the story with the host, Narfas who was sorry and offered to have it done again which I refused, I was disgusted already.Then my friend was about to help himself at the dessert station and had to face ants going all the way down to the cakes.The only think which was decent at this place was the water and the grilled chicken.I have complained to the Host Narfas again when we were about to leave and all he did was giving me attitude and told me while smiling that I should go ahead and complain to whoever like he couldn’t be bothered less. I will never go back to this place again and really hope that this review will make a difference for others not to go through this bad experience like we did.
