Hungry and craving for Yakisoba ended up going to Motomachi. A delightful experience on a whole. The service was decent and the ambiance was great, with views of the Lake. Oh and special mention to the menu. It has beautifully designed layouts and photographs. We ordered Chicken Yakisoba and it was really nice. The portion sizes are pretty generous. I also ordered Chicken Katsu from their special menu. It was great too. The taste might be a little bland for some, but I loved it. The fried onions, egg with breaded chicken was simply amazing and filling. We also ordered the Croquette Balls for starters they were delicious too. For Dessert we got the Strawberry Cake and that was actually the highlight of the day.And zomato gold works too :)Must Try : Chicken Yakisoba
The location is waterfront, interiors are well done, to spacious. The food was good, mixed outcome, some excellent and some average, the Makis are massive in size, they loose their taste as it came to be a bit commercial, noodles was ok. Service was very kind, however you feel they are lost, you need to chase them to clean the table and deliver a proper service flow. Overall good value for money and for sure will visit them again.
One of our go to faves at La mer when craving Japanese. The umami and freshness of their ingredients adds to why we enjoy the food so much here. The service is always polite, friendly and prompt.( shoutout to Mercy for her friendly and informative service ).The ambience with the Japanese touch is another nice plus. The Katsu curry and the tempura Don are my favourites, however most of the food I’ve tasted here is great and you just can’t go wrong. Much recommended!
While taking a stroll at La mer we were looking for a cafe to sit down and have some dessert. We are so glad we came across motomachi, the ambience is fabulous and the service is super friendly. We tried their Japanese cheesecake and chocolate parfait. The cheesecake was so fluffy and light one of the best we’ve had in Dubai to be honest. My husband couldn’t stop eating his chocolate parfait thus concluding it was delicious. We can’t wait to come back and try their food. A must visit.
Nice place in La Mer with a chilled atmosphere and great service. We ordered California rolls and seafood noodles, both plates were really big with generous quantities. I particularly enjoyed the service: the gentleman who served us was incredibly useful, cordial and attentive. Recommended if you fancy light food with reasonable prices.
I’ll never get tired of eating Japanese food especially here at Motomachi. I highly suggest try their Gyu Don and Chicken Katsu Don, it’s budget friendly without compromising the taste and quality. The authentic Japanese cuisine perfectly matched with their beautiful interior adorned with Japanese lanterns, kimonos and Japanese music serenading in the background bringing Japan closer.Look for Mio, she’s lovely and attentive which makes the entire experience pleasing. Actually it’s my 3rd time visiting this place.
