Slab’s been on my list for a while after reading rave reviews about it. I finally went there last weekend and honestly I was just confused. The menu has a seasonal approach covering multiple cuisines – Asian, Spanish, Italian etc. we tried a couple of things from each course. My problems as a lot of it seemed like they were store bought, cooked and served. Especially the tater tots and the noodles. The wings were decent but they didn’t pack a punch. I liked the zataar bread and the tomato dip/purée. But I guess that wasn’t enough to make up for everything else.
