Lemon Butter Chicken:This is a specialoffer that comes with rice/bread, salad and fries. I love a good chicken dish… I mean who doesn’t? A quarter piece of crispy chicken with lemon sauce on top, this savory chicken is full of flavor and every bite is just too good. The chicken is tender, and the sauce just elevates the taste of the chicken. The sides complete the dish making it a heavy meal while being extremely affordable and tasty at the same time.Rate: 4.5/5[AED 19]Spicy Chicken: a very spicy, saucy chicken. Soft, juicy and enough for a meal with rice/bread, fries and salad. The chicken is cooked fresh hence you have to tell wait a little longer but totally worth it.Rate: 4/5[AED 19] hungerjourneyco.wordpress.com
Authentic Portuguese style cuisineAmbiance 3/5Service 3/5Flavour 10/5Must tryPrawns – ask for the big prawnsChicken Remember to order mild (mild is hot so hot is fire)Order prior to arrving, good food takes a while
Authentic Mozambican/Portuguese restaurant. Their speciality is the chicken and they make some of the best gizzards in the city. I would recommend ordering before coming because they take a bit to marinate the chicken. Other than that, it’s a good place that’s fairly priced.
Possibly the best Portuguese chicken restaurant in Dubai. The chicken is bursting with flavour. The hot may be too hot for some, and don’t even think about extra hot, I’m pretty sure that will top the charts on the Scoville scale! Lemon butter will do for those who like to live life cautiously. Don’t forget to order Portuguese rolls, which are made to order and baked in front of your eyes! Hats off to these guys for keeping things simple, and being great at it!
Delicious food with outstanding flavour. I really enjoyed the taste. Excellent service and excellent affordable price and very unique. I recommend this place for good food.
Firstly.. finding this place is a nightmare.. yes you’ll ask Google maps to guide you there however it takes to you the building and you can see it but can’t access it.. nevertheless we managed to eventually get there..The interiors are dark and boring! Display fridges empty and decor is very haphazard..We ordered the spicy prawns, whole chicken, Portuguese rolls, chips and fillet steak..Prawns.. phenomenal with the spicy sauce.. Whole chicken.. perfectly grilled and again combined with spicy sauce it’s amazingChips- standardPortuguese rolls- just standard bakery rolls heated up and served with butterSteak- naa- would give it a missThe place was empty and we were the only guests there.. it’s a shame that the whole place seems like there is a lack of effort put in.. the food is good but the place just doesn’t seem inviting..Prices are on the high side too.. our bill was over Aed 400 and i can’t justify paying so much in such a venue
We tried the shrimps. And chicken the sauce is mind blowing and too spicy for many. So go for mild. But first time in my life it made me literally chew on the shrimps shells to extract the sauce out of them and don’t forget to mop up the extra sauce with the breads. I don’t know if they do lobsters with this sauce that would be totally awesome.
